20% off Sale @ Urban Decay

Not sure if you’re familiar with Urban Decay. It’s an edgy line of color cosmetics created by entrepreneur Sandy Lerner, who was one of the founders of Cisco. Talk about a “Jill-of-all-trades”! She also wrote a sequel to Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice highlighting the opportunities for women in the 18th century, and she is now engaged in an organic farming venture. Everything she does is a success. Read more about her in a recent interview in Inc. magazine: http://www.inc.com/jeremy-quittner/sandy-lerner-cisco-urban-decay-jane-austen.html

“nothing to disclose”

If you’re interested in trying any Urban Decay products or if you’re already a UD lover, now’s the time. Urban Decay is offering a Friends and Family 20% off sale till Feb. 17. Enter code: FFSPRING13 In addition to the brights they’re known for, the brand has a terrific line of neutrals called Naked: two palettes of eyeshadow and powder liners. If you want a change from Bobbi Brown, check out Naked and Naked2. With more neutrals than the first palette, Naked2 is one of my faves. Also, I love the long and lean packaging.

UD also has terrific eyeliner pencils. Many pencils are dry, hard to apply and not long-lasting. UD’s pencils glide on, last, and they’re not drying. They come in neutrals but also in lots of fun colors to change things up.

Urban Decay and their Naked 2 are amazing. I remember seeing their products first at the original Newbury Comics on Newbury Street in Boston. Nail Polish named Sludge…how could you go wrong.Their packaging is wonderfully artistic and the product quality has never disappointed. Thanks for the insight into Sandy Lerner and the promo code.

You’re welcome, Pam! Glad to hear that you’re an Urban Decay fan, too. You’re so right about the creative product names. When they discontinued my favorite UD cream eyeshadow, I cornered the market on it. It’s named Rehab. 😉
