Instant Eyelift from Dynamic Innovation Labs

The skin around my eyes is a challenge. It’s where I and many other women show their age. I haven’t tried Botox yet, and I’m not considering plastic surgery, so I’m always looking for skincare product solutions either temporary or longer term.

Instant Eyelift: What It Is

My eyes lit up when I read about Dynamic Innovation Labs Instant Eyelift. I applied to Brandbacker to be considered for this promotional campaign. I received a full size syringe-style applicator of Instant Eyelift to try out for an honest review. This past winter, I received a serum from L’Oreal in a similar applicator. I thought it was cool then, and I think this one looks cool now. It gets across the “Botox-alternative” concept very well.

Instant Eyelift was designed to reduce wrinkles and fine lines by tightening and firming the skin for up to 8 hours. Hmm, immediate although temporary results. Frankly, I like products like that. Immediate satisfaction is a good thing.

How does it work, you ask? Instant Eyelift is made with Veegum, an ingredient known for its tightening and refining properties. It also contains nourishing minerals.

How To Use It

The syringe doses out one perfect drop of a flesh-toned gel.

You apply it to clean skin, but I apply some eye cream first and let the eye cream dry completely. Next, I try to remember to use my ring finger to tap on a thin layer of Instant Eyelift. It is designed to be used on fine lines and on puffiness under eyes. I don’t have any puffiness, so I apply it on my crow’s feet and on the fine lines that have recently shown up near my eye socket. You’re supposed to remain expressionless while it dries, and I often forget to do that. The gel feels cooling initially. As it dries in about 90 seconds, you can feel it tightening and after a couple of minutes, my skin feels taut. Importantly, my skin feels smooth.

I took a chance and applied it to the loose skin above my eyelid crease – even though it didn’t say to use it in that area – to see if it would have an effect on the droopy skin that I’m so concerned about. I admit I was doing my own thing. My skin in that area is very sensitive, so using it there was a mistake. It felt very itchy on that skin, but after about 10 minutes, the itchiness went away. I haven’t tried that again. I’ll stick to the recommended areas for use.

Because my skin is so dry and so sensitive, I use a little extra eye cream when I wear Instant Eyelift. If your skin is normal, using your regular amount of eye cream will be fine, I’m sure. I just need extra help, lol, so that the tightening effect is comfortable for me especially since the effect lasts for several hours.

My Results

I took some before and after photos. Let’s look at my crow’s feet first. Here’s a before photo.

eye before Instant Eyelift neversaydiebeauty.com

After Instant Eyelift, the crow’s feet are still there, but I think they’re less obvious. As I mentioned earlier, they feel much smoother, and I think they look somewhat smoother too.

What resulted is a smoother palette upon which to apply my foundation and eye makeup. When I wear makeup, I think my crow’s feet are less visible. But, Instant Eyelift isn’t Botox so if I smile, my crow’s feet are still there, and that’s what I expected, lol.

I think there’s a difference in the fine lines under my eyes. This is before.

before Instant Eyelift neversaydiebeauty.com

Although I didn’t see a huge difference, the fine lines in my eye socket area are smoother, and that makes my foundation look much smoother. As a result, my face looks more uniform and smoother.

after using Instant Eyelift

As I said before, I don’t have under eye puffiness, but I could imagine that Instant Eyelift with it’s immediate and almost all day tightening effect could be great for making under eye bags disappear at least temporarily!

I’m afraid to try things like this but I’m glad you were happy with the product results 🙂

    1. Cheyenne, there’s really nothing to be afraid of with this because it’s just a gel-cream that you apply. You can feel a mild tightening but that sensation goes away after a couple of minutes. Then you wash it off when you cleanse your face. Nothing scary.

  2. While I’m not yet at the point where I’m dealing with the fine lines and puffiness, I’m glad there are cool products out there to help! The applicator looks particularly interesting. great review.

Very interesting product. I’ve used eye cream since I was 16 so I think its more about continued use vs instant results. But its all about what works best for your skin!

    1. When you get older, regardless if you’ve used eye cream your entire life, you get wrinkles around your eyes due to lack of hormones and the fact that the body stops producing as much collagen. Hormone replacement therapy helps but that may have health consequences. A product like this produces a temporary smoothing and “lifting” effect that makes skin look better especially under foundation 🙂

  5. I enjoyed your before and after photos of using this eye lift!! 🙂

    1. I’m not sure what the aspect of the product is that are scaring some of you. The “syringe” is not a real syringe, but it pumps out a little gel-cream. The gel-cream gives a mild and I mean mild tightening feeling on the skin for about two minutes that results in a smoothing effect. You wash it off at night, and the results are temporary.

  7. Ouch! That’s expensive! Very cool that they offer a sample to try before you buy!!

I purchased the sonic but don’t know how ho use it! Help

    1. Dell, I’m not sure what you mean by the “sonic”. It’s been a while since I used this product, but the one that I received and used was like a big hypodermic needle without the needle. I pushed on the plunger and some of the eye gel-cream came out of the tip. Does this sound like what you have??
