Time is marching on and we’re about a month from the holidays. Maybe some of you earlybirds have finished your shopping? Maybe others haven’t started yet. And most of us are somewhere in the middle.
In addition to getting our shopping done, there’s so much else going on at this time of year: entertaining at home, going to parties, doing some shopping for ourselves to make sure we’re ready for the holidays. The stores are crazy busy. The roads are clogged with traffic. More and more I rely on online retailers. Easy peasy.
So to make things easier for me and for you, Fashion Flash, the group of over 40 women lifestyle bloggers I belong to, has partnered with the shopping network, Evine, and we’ve put together a Gift Guide for inspiration. Marquis by Waterford Newbury Wedge Cut Pitcher
I redecorated my dining room a few years ago to brighten up what had been a dark space. I replaced the dark wallpaper with a beautiful 18th century style floral pattern on a pale green background. It’s so bright and airy now, and it goes much better with my floral china. When I set my dining room table, I always like to have a pitcher or two with water on the table. So I chose the beautiful crystalline Newbury pitcher from Marquis by Waterford.
Marquis is Waterford’s more affordable line that makes stylish entertaining attainable for just about everyone. It’s cut glass that you don’t have to “save for best”.
In fact, I think this stunning cut glass pitcher makes a lovely gift. At 36 ounces, it’s large enough to hold water for a party of 6-8. If you’re hosting a Christmas morning brunch, the Newbury pitcher would be fabulous filled with fresh orange juice, or how about mimosas? And when I’m not using it for a dinner party, I can use it as a vase.
Typically, the Marquis by Waterford Newbury crystalline pitcher is priced at about $89, but I noticed it’s on sale now for $38.73 – I cannot tell you what an amazing deal that is! Don’t pass this one up! Grab one for yourself and at least one for a gift!
Madi Claire Croco Embossed “Arabella” Leather Quilted Satchel
As you probably know, I’m all about red and all shades of red. These days I’m sporting the incredible Madi Claire Arabella satchel. Madi Claire, known for its MC logo, is a brand that has been on my Wish List for ages, so I’m thrilled to have the chance to own one of their beautiful faux leather bags that’s perfect for vegans or for anyone who appreciates stylish accessories.
The Arabella satchel has a quilted burgundy faux leather body accented with red crocodile embossing and silver hardware. It couldn’t be more perfect for me since I adore red and I prefer silver hardware. Plus, it’s a really good size (12-1/2″L x 6″W x 10-1/2″H) so it holds a lot! Though I prefer to use it as a satchel style purse (it has two 6″ drop handles), it comes with a removable shoulder strap that’s especially handy when my hands are full. It sits nicely on silver feet when I’m not carrying it.
It has a ring on the each side where I can hang my keys for easy access. Inside, the lining has the MC logo. There’s a roomy zippered compartment as well as pen/pencil holders inside the bag, and two good size slip pockets that are perfect for my new large iPhone 7Plus.
In addition to the more secure interior pockets, there’s a large zip pocket on the back that’s especially great for keeping documents when navigating security at the airport as well as a phone pocket that will fit most tablet phones (though my iPhone 7Plus is slightly too wide when in its protective case).
The Madi Claire Arabella Satchel comes in two other shades, Brown and Bone, if Burgundy doesn’t suit you or your giftee. It’s priced at $112.50, and I think it’s well worth it. The Arabella is so well made, it will last for years. And the classic styling is timeless perfection.

This may sound funny but when u need u need. I’m a huge Makeup Junkie and would love a Gift Card to any makeup j could get My hands on. Lol like the Modern Renaissance everyone has fallen in love with. The colors r very pretty. But what I really need is a pair of new glasses. Visited my eye doc a cpl wks ago and need new glasses really bad. Cpl yrs old and really scratched and need a new script. Also found a dental college to help me with getting dentures soon. Don’t know when for sure yet. Just the price is AMAZING to a regular dentist. I screened for it a cpl wks ago and got accepted to their program which will follow up for two yrs with me and my new smile. Can’t wait for it. I know their will be pain. But sometimes u have to deal with that at first doesn’t last forever is what I tell myself anyway. Lol. Thanks so much for this opportunity.

Many think it doesn’t get cold here for gloves, but I use them each year… it’s actually really cold and I live on the highest mountain on my island so I do wear gloves… wearing them now in fact. lol
