Spring to me often means new lighter scents. And that’s where Farmhouse Fresh comes in. Although I adore their gourmand Whoopie Cream scented bath and body products, it’s great to change things up a bit.
In time for the first leaves of spring, I’ve had a chance to try out the new Farmhouse Fresh Rainbow Road Body Wash and Bubble Bath in Bartlett Pear and Coconut scent.
It has a fresh, light, fruity fragrance with pear and a hint of coconut. It’s divine! In fact, I would describe it as a scent that even those who avoid scents could enjoy because it whispers instead of shouts. There are two more scents that are new as well:
- Pink Moon: soft powder, licorice and spun sugar scent
- Fluffy Bunny: FHF’s lightest scent, it has notes of mint-julep, cream and just a hint of lavender.
Don’t they sound delectable? And don’t you just love those names? Fluffy Bunny Body Wash would be a perfect Easter gift! I have not tried out the other two scents yet, but I can tell you more about Rainbow Road.
Rainbow Road Body Wash, a thick liqui-gel that FHF describes as a “creamy whip”, makes a little bit less lather on my skin if I apply it with my hand than the Whoopie Cream Body Wash that I also own. But if I use a sponge or pouf, Rainbow Road lathers up very nicely.
It’s as gentle as can be. Rainbow Road is made from 95% natural ingredients and it’s paraben, gluten, sulfate, and cruelty-free. It contains a host of beneficial ingredients: aloe, vitamin E and a blend of extracts that calm sensitive skin including Green Tea, Chamomile and Arnica Montana Flower. Nourishing Green Tea Extract is loaded with polyphenols and anti-inflammatory properties that’s perfect for delicate skin. It also contains sodium PCA, an ingredient that helps boost skin’s moisture content and prevent moisture loss.
Rainbow Road Body Wash and the other three fragrances each come in an 8 fl. oz. plastic flip top bottle. $18. They are sold on the Farmhouse Fresh website as well as at fine hotels and spas like the Marriot Resort & Spa at Camelback, Hyatt Resorts and Spas, Four Seasons, and Ritz-Carlton. They are also available at Skinstore.com.
In addition to being one of my all-time favorites in the bath, body and skincare categories, Farmhouse Fresh is an award-winning brand with awards from Oprah, Redbook, Southern Living, as well as a Profesionals Choice winner every year since 2013. BTW, Farmhouse Fresh has an actual farm in Texas. They source ingredients like fruits, vegetables and milk from their own farm as well as from other U.S. farms, and the products are manufactured in the U.S.
If you haven’t tried Farmhouse Fresh yet, you really must. All of their natural and organic products make affordable treats or lovely gifts. Check out their extensive product line on their website.
What’s your favorite FHF product or fragrance?
FHF really can do no wrong as far as I am concerned! I haven’t tried anything from them that I didn’t love! Their body washes are AMAZING!
