Happy day after Black Friday! Did anyone do any shopping? I picked up a trio of polishes and a topcoat at the Zoya sale. I almost bought something online at MAC, but the shipping for that one little item would have cost more than what I saved so I bailed. How about you? Any great scores that you want to share??

I shouldn’t buy either, probably. I actually already own and love both items, but in different colourways, so the problem is dual sided. I love the ones I own so maybe I do not need a second colour? But on the flip side, I love the ones I own so the second colour would also be well loved. Oh temptation…
Oh, decisions decisions! If you love something and wear it often, it’s sometimes nice to have it in another color choice for variety! Maybe choose one of the two?? So far, I bought the 3 polishes and topcoat from Zoya, and another MAC Upward Lash Mascara to put aside till needed, and I’ll probably get another Georgette Klinger Collagen & Elastin Moisturizer & maybe their Coconut Toning Mist (I have the lavender and love it but I’d like to try the other scent). I’m debating about getting a Melt Stack, like I need more eyeshadow lol. Hard to resist at this time of year!
I just tell myself I already have those shadow colours in a palette somewhere, refuse to go look and check, and don’t buy it because I don’t want to dupe myself. I also rarely wear eye makeup anymore, so that’s gotten a lot easier. I’m working on the same lazy no dupe philosophy for lip products, but that one is going to be so much harder since I do wear lipstick most days.
I did get the shoes. 40s style peep toe slingbacks in alligator-stamped leather- I mean, really, how long was I supposed to resist? I was doomed the moment they even EXISTED in my size. Then I was doubly doomed when I bought the first pair. And I’m supporting small business. I can justify this one allllllllllllll day if I have to. 😛
The jacket is on sale with an extra savings code through tonight, so the jury is still out there. I’ve almost decided to let it slide, but many moods may pass between now and then. I’ve a whole workday to get through first, lol!
