I’ve recently been introduced to a few little somethings that I am absolutely delighted with.

Yesterday, I wrote about how much I liked the Masqueology Rubber Mask, and today I want to tell you about the Gurunanda Natural Mist Diffuser (formerly called the Wall Plug-In Diffuser) and essential oils.

Gurunanda Natural Mist Diffuser

Last year, I finally took the plunge and tried essential oils with a diffuser. I was immediately hooked. However, I don’t really have a place where I can keep my diffuser on display and plugged in. So more often than not, it sits in the bathroom closet till I take it out for a spin. I would love to be able to use essential oils more often with less of a hassle.

Enter the Gurunanada Natural Mist Diffuser. The cool part about it is that it is a wall plug-in or USB diffuser! I received this handy dandy small plug-in diffuser to test for review, but it was love at first use. Gurunanda Natural Mist diffuser consists of two pieces:

  • the wall adapter used to plug into the electrical outlet
  • the diffuser that can be plugged into a USB on your computer or laptop if you’re on the go.

You open a bottle of Gurunanda essential oil – I have Lavender and Tea Tree Oils, remove the plastic dropper inside,

invert the bottle and screw it in to the top of the diffuser just like you’d screw in a lightbulb. So easy to do!

Unlike regular diffusers, it doesn’t require water! You diffuse directly from the essential oil bottle.

The diffuser piece has a power button on the front that you use to turn the device on and off as well as to select the mode or how often you want the device to diffuse. The choices are:

  • every 10 minutes: blue light
  • every 20 minutes: green light.

Unlike a regular diffuser that diffuses constantly, the silent ultrasonic plug-in diffuser creates a puff or two of mist every 10 or 20 minutes. I usually go with every 10 minutes. If I feel that I want another hit of scent, I shut it off and turn it back on because it mists immediately after being turned on. You can see the mist coming out of a small hole on the front of the diffuser.

I mostly plug it into an electrical outlet in my office near my desk or in my bedroom near my side of the bed. It’s a personal diffuser, and it works so well!

The directions say to clean the unit with a cloth or tissue after you remove the essential oil bottle. Use a cotton swab with a little alcohol to clean the mist outlet so it doesn’t get clogged and so you are “starting fresh” when you use a new essential oil scent.

The Gurunanda Natural Mist is sold on the Gurunanda website where it’s currently on sale for $16.99, and you can enter your email and get an extra 10% off your purchases. It is sooooooo worth it!

Gurunanda Essential Oils

I like both the Lavender and Tea Tree essential oils that I received. Lavender is a wonderful calming scent that I enjoy when I’m working in my office especially when I have a lot to do or in my bedroom before going to sleep. Tea Tree oil is supposed to help support the immune system, and it has cleansing and renewing properties. I’d like to get Gurunanda’s Rose Water next.

BTW, I’ve been using my lavender essential oil in the Natural Mist diffuser every day for the past week, and I still have at least 4/5 of the bottle left!

The Gurunanda essential oils are 100% pure and natural. Puneet Nanda who started the Gurunanda company is personally involved with the entire process of creating the oils. In fact, he personally visits the farms worldwide that grow the plants from which his oils are distilled so he could be sure of the quality of the growing process and products.

The essential oils are individually priced with most of the oils ranging from $5.99-9.99 on the Gurunanda website. They have bundles as well, some of which include a diffuser.

I have to ask how big is your diffuser? I have a Gurunanda that is just a bit bigger than the palm of my hand and about 7 inches tall. 🙂

    1. Gloria, I have too much stuff!! I use my diffuser when I’m working at my desk in my office during the day, and then at night when I go to bed in my bedroom. My night table is too small for my regular diffuser that about 7″ wide. I could put it on my vanity table that’s at the other side of the room but it’s too far away. Also with water in it, it sometimes sloshes around and my tables are antiques and would require me to make sure the diffuser is sitting on something. This little portable unit without water is just so much handier for me. It has solved my problems!

  5. A wall diffuser for straight essential oils! Interesting! I need actually pick up some oils for some beauty care things I want to make!

  6. I want to look into the other essential oils they sell for this since it’s such an easy way to get the fragrance into the room. It’s small enough that it’s not taking over a room either.

  15. I need this plugged in at work!
