Happy weekend! It looks like an outdoor weekend here along the coast of Massachusetts. I’m psyched. Maybe I’ll get to do some bike riding.
Yesterday, I planted two rhododendrons and a bunch of ferns in an unloved part of my yard that is more visible now that a tree was removed. I need to add a bunch more ferns to this hillside garden, but I think it will look cool once it’s finished. My clematis is in bloom, and one of the peonies has just started to open. I love spring! Mary, remind me where you live, Florida? Yes, I’m lucky that I can grown these beauties. But so many other plants are annuals here while they’re perennials elsewhere because our winters are so cold. Yes, we live in hot & humid Florida. We can grow many things all year long with 4 growing seasons but we cannot grow dahlias, hostas, asparagus, clematis or rhubarb. Good excuse for us to travel north!
