June 9 2018 Beauty Spotlight Team & Peek at My Flowers

Happy weekend! It looks like an outdoor weekend here along the coast of Massachusetts. I’m psyched. Maybe I’ll get to do some bike riding.

Yesterday, I planted two rhododendrons and a bunch of ferns in an unloved part of my yard that is more visible now that a tree was removed. I need to add a bunch more ferns to this hillside garden, but I think it will look cool once it’s finished. My clematis is in bloom, and one of the peonies has just started to open. I love spring! Are you a gardener?

You get to grow all the flowers we cannot in the Tropics. Love the Clematis and Peonies. Enjoy them for me too!

    1. Mary, remind me where you live, Florida? Yes, I’m lucky that I can grown these beauties. But so many other plants are annuals here while they’re perennials elsewhere because our winters are so cold. Trade-off, right? Thank you so much for letting me know you enjoyed looking at the photos of my flowers. More to come!!

Yes, we live in hot & humid Florida. We can grow many things all year long with 4 growing seasons but we cannot grow dahlias, hostas, asparagus, clematis or rhubarb. Good excuse for us to travel north!

    1. Let me know if you ever make it to MA! I’d love to meet you
