This week has been even busier so far than Thanksgiving week. How can that be? I have so much on my plate – good stuff – that I just didn’t get my post up for Wednesday. And I had meant to post this week’s Fashion Flash on Monday afternoon, and I didn’t get to that.
So here’s the link to the new edition of Fashion Flash hosted by Barbara Hannah Grufferman, the author of Love Your Age and editor of barbarahannahgrufferman.com. Here are the highlights from this week’s edition:
- how to keep your eating in check over the holidays
- reviews of new eyeshadow palettes
- super secret places to visit in Tuscany
- common holiday health busters and how to avoid them
- reviews of new skincare and bath and body brands and products
- how to maximize your talents
So head over to Barbara’s website and check out Fashion Flash!
Hopefully today, I’ll get back on track and get my Thursday post written! Yesterday, I went to lunch with a friend, did some holiday shopping, visited a friend who wanted some moral support while she trimmed her hibiscus plants, and went to a lecture at the Horticultural Society about the Algonquians and Food and Medicinal Plants. It sounds very formal, but it was a fascinating and informative talk about the native plants that the native Americans in my area gathered and grew in their gardens for food and medicine. So many plants, trees and fungi that to this day grow wild in my yard and in the woods can be used roasted, ground up, soaked, boiled to make stews, porridges, desserts, and medicines. Wow, I won’t look at what I considered weeds the same way!
