Best wishes for a happy healthy 2019!
This New Year’s Eve was a quiet one. Jeff and I got dressed up and stayed home and ate smoked salmon, lobsters and my leftover birthday cake that I froze and we drank champagne. It was fun especially since it was raining tonight and not great for celebrating outdoors. What were you up to?

Have a wonderful first day!
One of my favorite memories of New Years Eve was from years ago when we lived in Green Bay, WI. Several of the neighbors got together and we went out to a park that was groomed for Cross Country skiing. Can’t remember why we went at night but it was beautiful with a full moon. It was a perfect way to celebrate New Years Eve.
Skiing during the full moon must have been heavenly, Sandy! What a wonderful New Year’s Eve memory. It’s sort of like swimming at night. I ended up drinking too much champagne last night, ugh. It was a quiet night. Happy New Year! I hope it turns out to be a good one for all of us.
