Honestly Margo Natural and Organic Balms

I save many of the boxes that PR samples and some of my purchases come in, and I reuse them when I send out giveaway prizes. The ones that didn’t completely survive delivery or that have logos on the outside I recycle. As you can imagine, I’ve got a lot of boxes. I always try to recycle a few every week. Recently, when I was about to recycle a box, I took the paper shreds out to recycle them, and I found three products that had been sent to me for review back in November. Although I already reviewed the products that were packed on the top of the shreds, I didn’t see the other three because they were nestled inside the shreds. I didn’t know they were there! Fortunately, I decided to recycle the box and found them.

The three products were from the natural, cruelty-free brand, Honestly Margo, whose products are chockfull of organic ingredients. I wrote about the brand started by a young entrepreneur and her mom before the holidays last year (here).

Hidden among the shreds were:

  • All Natural Lip Balm Ruby, Very Berry
  • Clementine Grapefruit Citrus Energy Balm
  • Aurora Lavender Sleep Balm.

Ruby Lip Balm

It looks like since I received the Honestly Margo Ruby Lip Balm last November, there’s been a change. I went to the website again to check on the products and prices, and the skinny lip balm with 0.07 oz. that’s great for pocket or purse has been replaced with Ruby Lip/Body Balm, a larger 4 oz. size, for $10.

The ingredients look just about the same: Beeswax, Coconut oil, Safflower oil, and now flavored oils rather than natural flavors on my tube.

I really like the lip balm that I have. The “flavor” is Very Berry, a mild mixed berry scent that doesn’t have a flavor.

The colorless lip balm itself is terrific. It’s very emollient and exceedingly long-lasting. I like it a lot. I imagine the formula would be a fine body balm as well.

The Lip/Body Balms are the #1 seller on the Honestly Margo website. They come in 6 scents: Very Berry, Fruity Colada, Peppermint, Lemon, Pumpkin Cheesecake, and Caramel Apple. Check ’em out here.

In addition, there are Tinted Lip Balms in 6 shades, 4 oz. for $6.

Aromatherapy Balms

I received two of the three Aromatherapy Balms made with organic oils:

  • Clementine Grapefruit Citrus Energy Balm: an energizing, refreshing fresh citrus scent
  • Aurora Lavender Sleep Balm: a soothing, relaxing lavender scent that’s great to use before bed.

The third Aromatherapy Balm is Serenity Vapor Balm for colds, congestion, headaches, and stress because it contains organic menthol, peppermint oil, and eucalyptus.

I love using my two balm under my nose and on my temples. During the day, I find Clementine to be like my own portable aromatherapy oil, and at night, Aurora does help me relax before bed.

They can both be used on dry lips and skin too.

The Aromatherapy Balms contains 4 oz. and are priced at $10. There are also Aromatherapy Bath Salts Soak and Shower Mist in the same three varieties.

If you are a fan of cruelty-free body and body and wellness products made with natural and organic ingredients, and if you would like to help support a young woman entrepreneur, check out Honestly Margo. In addition to being sold on the Honestly Margo website, I was blown away by how many boutiques in my area carry the brand so be sure to use the store locator on the website to find a retailer near you!
