Because I am hosting my book club tonight, I am taking the day off from a regular blogpost so I can cook. In our group, the host has to provide a 3 course dinner for the group. Fortunately, our group that used to have 11 members has whittled down to 7, and I think, there will be only 6 of us tonight – perfect for fitting comfortably around my dining room table. One of the characters in the book we read this past month was named after her Hungarian grandmother who had been a magician and performer in a circus, so I am making Hungarian Parikash. After a rather heavy meal, I’m making a lemon tart for dessert and I changed the appetizers to something lighter than I had originally planned. Hope it all turns out OK!
