About four years ago, I switched 90% of the time from mainstream antiperspirants to natural deodorants. As the decades have gone by, I don’t perspire as much as I did when I was a teen. And over time, I began to get concerned about using an antiperspirant with aluminum in it every single day. I decided to switch to natural deodorant. To be honest, I still keep an antiperspirant in my medicine chest for days that I know will be particularly stressful or if the heat and humidity are exceptionally high. But for most days, I find that natural deodorant works well for me.
For more than a year, I have been using Crystal Invisible Solid natural deodorant, the Lavender & White Tea scent. I find that on all but the most aggravating or super humid days, it works extremely well for me for 24 hours. It goes on smoothly and has a pleasant light scent. I have been very satisfied with it. And after more than a year of using it just about every day, I still have a lot left.
So when I was given an opportunity to try two new mineral enriched natural deodorants from Crystal, I was hesitant. I love my Lavender & White Tea deodorant (reviewed here). But I decided I had nothing to lose.
I received new Crystal Mineral Enriched Deodorants:
The new Crystal Mineral Enriched Deodorants are a little different. The invisible solid sticks are translucent, and they go on so incredibly smoothly. I put on a couple of swipes. There is no sticky feeling, no greasy feeling, no white residue, no clumping, no nothing. Just smoothness. It’s a pleasure to apply and to wear.
The two scents are truly fresh scents. Freshly Minted is my personal fave. It has a very light minty fresh scent. When I apply it, it smells very nice, but again it’s a light scent. Perfect because it doesn’t interfere with any perfume or scented body lotion that I choose to wear.
IMO, Mountain Fresh is a slightly more aromatic scent but still not overpowering. It smells a bit like a fresh, outdoorsy gender-neutral cologne. I’d say both of these scents could be used by both women and men.
I do not have sensitive skin, and I had no skin irritation with the new Crystal Mineral Enriched natural deodorants. In addition, I’ve had excellent results with them which is impressive to me because I’ve been using them in the heat of summer. Crystal Mineral Enriched does last for 24 hours on me, just as is printed on the label. One day, I tried to push it to 48 hours, and when I returned from a jog on an 80 degree summer day, I discovered I couldn’t go for two days on just a couple of swipes. But I’m not complaining, 24 hours odor-free is fine!

I’ve tried several natural deodorant brands, but Crystal remains my favorite. And now Freshly Minted is my favorite among favorites.
I know that natural deodorants are not for everyone. I’m grateful that Crystal natural deodorants work for me.

I use Crystal Roll On every day. I actually should try these new scents since mint doesn’t bother me. I’m really glad I switched to Crystal.

The packaging is cool! I keep trying natural deodorants but they just don’t work for me. Maybe I should try this brand!
I use their actual crystal rock deodorant and it works SO well for me!
I love the concept but so many of them do not keep me smelling fresh.

I dabble with natural deodorants, but always keep a ‘real’ option on hand too! I love it sound of these and the mint scent sounds like it could be quite nice.
I love the Crystal Freshly Minted, but for certain days/occasions/weather having an AP on hand is necessary. Glad you agree
