Summer colds are the worst. I’ve had this one for almost 10 days. Most of last week, I stayed at home because I had no energy at all. Plus 3 days of a sore throat and 3 days of a fever. Ugh. Now I’m on to the congestion phase with a stuffy and runny nose and an unending cough. It better be over soon.

What I have found that helps my stuffy nose and also helps me feel a little perkier is the Peppermint 100% natural essential oil from Guru Nanda Aromatherapy Natural Body & Room Spray. It smells so authentic, just like being in a room full of peppermint candy canes. Even with my stuffed up nose, I can smell it. In fact, it sort of helps unclog my nose. Great stuff!

I have another scent of Guru Nanda Body & Room Spray as well: the Lavender 100% natural essential oil Body & Room Spray. It’s the perfect spray for my pillow at night and around my bedroom to help me relax to go to sleep. I love it.

Guru Nanda’s essential oils are made with the utmost care. The herbs that they use are farmed throughout the world. They are ethically sourced, non-GMO and the farmers work as partners along with Guru Nanda. Plus GN uses GS/MS testing to ensure the purity of their oils.

“Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) is an analytical method which combines gas-chromatography and mass spectrometry to identify individual substances within a sample. If a brand offers GC-MS testing results, you can feel more confident in the oils’ purity.”

And they’re cruelty-free.

I like that they source their oils ethically, and the GC/MS testing is a bonus for me. I’ll need peppermint soon enough now that school started again and my kids will be bringing home all the colds (which I always end up with). Hope you feel better soon!
