I’m still very satisfied with the bras I’ve bought from Savage x Fenty (reviewed here and here). But to be clear, I wear underwire bras. Not everyone likes underwire, I know. But these are the most comfortable underwire bras ever. Recently, I’ve been talking to a couple of my friends about Savage x Fenty bras, and when I sent them to my blog to read my reviews, they both said, “Yeah, but you wear underwire. I don’t.” Savage x Fenty has bras without underwire, but they call them all “bralettes” which I think could be a little misleading since that term could imply a completely unconstructed bra and that’s not necessarily the case with some of their unlined styles.
Now on to my new purchase.
So several weeks ago, I decided to try another style of Savage x Fenty bra that was on sale: Unlined Geo Mesh Bra. It was a lacy number, and I typically stay away from lace bras because I almost always find them to be too itchy and uncomfortable to wear, especially because I prefer unlined bras. In fact, I have a few lace bras that I bought years ago that I either wore once or never wore. I need to give those itchy ones away.
But somehow I managed to convince myself that I needed to buy the Unlined Geo Mesh Bra from Savage x Fenty. I had been looking at it every time I went to the website. It is such an eye-catching style. The fact that it was on sale did the trick. And because of the pricing, I ended up buying it in both pink and black. If I bought only one, it would be the same price as buying two on sale. Weird.
So I now own two of the Unlined Geo Mesh Bras. They arrived beautifully packaged in the Savage x Fenty box.
They are very pretty, very girlie. The lace is very soft to the touch, not “crunchy” and stiff like some lace can be.
I’m learning new bra construction terminology. The “galloon” (a narrow ornamental strip of fabric) that goes from the shoulder to the deep V is made from scalloped lace. It is lovely to look at, but I have found that it can be limiting in terms of what I can wear it with – it doesn’t work with tops with narrow shoulders, a big scoop or V because the lace scallops can show. Thankfully, I don’t have too many dresses or tops like that. The galloon creates a flattering V down to where the cups begin.
The cups are shaped with both horizontal and vertical seams. Although it looks like the seams could be uncomfortable in an unlined bra, they’re not. The quality is so high: each seam is finished very well and lies flat. Importantly, the seams in the cup provide lift and shaping. It reminds me of a balconette style, rounded and lifted. I would say it’s a full coverage bra.
The bras have the same beautiful rose gold fittings like the other styles from Savage x Fenty.
The Unlined Geo Mesh Bra gets 5 star ratings from the 197 reviewers on the website. They love the styling of the bra, describing it as “gorgeous”, “sexy” and ‘feminine”. The vast majority of reviewers describe it as comfortable, like they forget they’re wearing it. A few reviewers thought it ran a little small. For me, it fits perfectly.
What I love about Savage x Fenty bras is the comfort and fit (as well as the pretty looks). The center between the two cups always lays flat against my chest, and few other bras from other brands do that. I love love love this brand!
The Unlined Geo Mesh Bra is currently on sale for VIP Extra members for 2 for $44.
As a VIP Extra subscription member, you have to remember to register that you want to “skip” a month between the first and the fifth of the month. I skipped August, and it wasn’t hard to do. Plus Savage x Fenty sends an email reminder. Not so hard, so far 🙂

I don’t want to talk you into it, Lois!! I love the Savage x Fenty bras, and I do find them to be the most comfortable bras I’ve owned, but I have been wearing underwire bras for decades. If you do consider it, I would start with one of the more “normal” styles rather than the Unlined Geo Mesh bra. My fave is still the Unlined Microfiber Demicup that also comes in an unlined version. The fabric is so soft!
That is one of the prettiest bras I’ve ever seen, plus it looks like it’s actually supportive. I think you’ve convinced me to try the Fenty bra club!
Kim, it is worth it to go on the website and read a lot of the reviews. If you do decide to try the Savage x Fenty Extra VIP club, I would not start with this bra because it’s so different.
