We’re expecting a hot weekend, meaning temps in the 90s. This weekend, however, high tide at the beach is in the afternoon. Good Harbor Beach is an odd beach in that at low tide, the water is about 1/4 mile or so from the soft sand beach leaving lots of hard sand for people to sit on. But at high tide, there’s not a lot of beach. So we were most likely skip it this weekend.
Nevertheless, tonight, we are going to my favorite place, the deck at the Beauport Hotel in Gloucester that has a gorgeous view of the ocean. Although the deck doesn’t face west, I hope we’ll get to see at least some of the sunset. The weather is supposed to be great. When I went there for lunch the week before last, the tables were well spaced so I am feeling pretty comfortable going there.
