Twice As Many For Half As Much

I Bought This, Affiliate Links

Heaven knows I don’t need more concealer, but I am always intrigued by a cream stick concealer that I haven’t tried. So when I saw that BareMinerals BarePro 16 Hour Full Coverage Concealer was one of the Ulta 21 Days featured products for half price, I decided to go for it.

BareMineral BarePro 16 Hour Full Coverage Concealer comes in 10 shades from Fair/Light to Deep with different undertones. Because there was no Fair/Light with Cool undertones (only the lightest shade Fair-Cool 01 that I knew would be too light for me), I chose shade 03 Fair/Light with Neutral undertones. I would say the match is close enough.

I love cream stick concealers because they’re so easy to apply. While I still love Judith August Orange Masking Creme, it comes in a round pan with 3 different shades (as well as in individual pots of one of the three shades). Great for getting a perfect match, but you have to apply it with a brush. The BareMinerals BarePro Concealer comes in a slim lipstick-like tube that’s a cinch to use.

BareMinerals wasn’t kidding when they named this concealer 16 Hour Full Coverage because it really is. It covers my dark spots and dark circles very well, and it doesn’t disappear over the course of the day. I went jogging this warm, humid evening, and the concealer is still on.

Now for the good part, for me at least. I bought BareMinerals 16 Hour Full Coverage Concealer a few days ago at half price. The regular price is $25, so on Tuesday, September 7 during 21 Days, it was $12.50. Ulta’s delivery system has gotten so much faster lately. It arrived on Saturday. When I opened the package, I was even more surprised because there were two BareMinerals BarePro Concealers in there. Unfortunately, they don’t include the receipt, just a return slip. But I went back to the confirmation email, and it shows that I bought just one. How nice to get an extra! At $6.25 a piece, I really did well.

Ulta’s 21 Days ends this coming Saturday, but there are still some excellent bargains. On Tuesday, the iconic First Aid Beauty Cream Cleanser is on sale for $11. There are some really good neutral LORAC Pro shadow palettes on sale today (Tuesday 9/14) and the Norvina palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills on sale on Friday (9/17). This morning (Monday), I tried to buy Boscia Peptide Youth-Restore Firming Body Serum that was on sale for $17.50, but it was sold out already. Wow.

Did you buy anything this time from Ulta’s 21 Days?

  2. That’s a mistake I can appreciate! It’ll be a while until you need a replacement. I like their cream concealer for under my eyes.
