I still love Olive & June nail products. I am continuing to find that my mani lasts a week even if I don’t reapply topcoat every night. And if I don’t apply any more topcoat, I still get at least 5 days or even more depending on what I’m doing with my hands. It truly has been a game changer for me.
My only complaint is that I don’t love the colors as much as I love the variety from Zoya and the beautiful holos, metallics, and glitters from Pahlish and KB Shimmer etc. The Olive & June shades are mostly creams with a few metallics that I haven’t tried yet. Nevertheless, the O&J polishes stick like glue on my nails, so I guess I’ll buy some more fall/winter shades and throw a metallic into the mix.
In the meantime, I have been trying out the mini and full size polishes that I bought in September, and I thought I’d show you what they look like. Oops, I just realized I forgot to photograph one of the shades, the pale blue Honest & True. Oh well, that one will be next time.
Grateful & Kind: hot pink cream
Hibiscus: bright tropical pink cream
Pink Sands: pale pink-white cream
All three applied smoothly and completely opaque in two coats. However, Pink Sands was very streaky in the first coat. I was worried that it would need more than two coats, but it didn’t. Although Pink Sands is pretty, it really is a summer shade, though it might also look nice with winter white or winter pale pastels. I guess I’ll see.
Hibiscus is a pretty pink-red, but in these big pix, I can see I missed a spot on my index finger. Oh well, I still can’t see close even with my reading glasses, lol.
I would say my favorite of the three is the hot pink Grateful & Kind.
Jeff and I are going away this weekend to Portland Maine, about an hour and a half away by car. It’s our first trip in two years. I think I’m going to wear the pink-mauve cream, LD, that I showed you when I first tried Olive & June.
I must have over a hundred different nails polishes. But since I tried Olive & June, I haven’t used any of my old favorites even though I prefer many of the other brand shades. I guess I’ve made the trade off for long wearing rather than unique.
Oh, Sunday night is last call to enter my Paula’s Choice 2% BHA and C15 Super Booster Serum giveaway, if you haven’t entered already! There are 2 prizes and not a lot of entrants, so you’ve got a pretty good chance 😉
This sounds like a really promising line for polish. Ive stuck with my dips only because its the only thing that last in the gym. I wonder if this would last any longer on me,
These are really lovely, and I really love the colors on you!

It’s great that you d a brand that works so well for you. If I start doing my nails myself I’ll consider this system.
