The fact that it’s been so warm till now has made it seem impossible that the holidays are just around the corner. But here we are. I imagine that the cold weather that’s on headed our way this week will shake me out of my summer reverie.
Plus with the crazy inflation that we’ve been experiencing, I will definitely be seeking out sales to stretch my dollar. If you’re like me, the City Beauty sale will be good news.

City Lips
I know I’ve told this story about a million times, but hey, what’s once more. After I started Never Say Die Beauty 10 years ago (wow, 10 years!), my friend Nancy asked me my opinion of City Lips. I told her truthfully I wasn’t familiar with it. She had seen City Lips on one of the morning TV shows as well as in some of the beauty magazines.
I googled City Lips, read about it on the website, and decided to buy a couple of tubes. I always had dry lips, so I figured what the heck.
So, I have been using City Lips for just about 10 years. I can’t even begin to guess how many tubes I’ve gone through 😉 Although City Lips Clear is the one I use every single day (I go through a tube every 6-8 weeks), I also have tried a number of the glossy shades – the opaque colors are my favorites.
You can be sure I’ll be ordering a couple of tubes during the sale.
Barrier Rescue Firming Night Cream
The peach Barrier Rescue Firming Night Cream is one of my all-time favorite moisturizers. It’s lightweight, non-greasy, and it helps my skin feel hydrated, healthy and firmer. If I didn’t have to test moisturizers and anti-aging creams from a million brands, I would probably use Barrier Cream every night.
Multi-Action Sculpting Cream
I’m always trying to keep my grandmother’s jowls at bay. To that end, UpLift Firming Serum and Multi-Action Sculpting Cream are two of the key weapons in my lifting and firming arsenal. I apply first the serum and next MASC along my jawline, and then I use my SpaceTouch Vega red light device for the lifting triple-whammie!
Lid-Lifting Eye Treatment
Like with City Lips, I write about my love for Lid-Lifting Eye Treatment all the time. This spackle-like rich cream is the perfect treatment for smoothing out and firming the skin beneath my brows and soothing the dry skin on my eyelids and in my creases. Just brilliant stuff!
Ultra-Firming Dry Oil Neck & Decolletage Treatment
For my neck and check, Ultra-Firming Dry Oil is the bomb. I don’t use this every night, but I use it 2 or 3 times a week and then I use my SpaceTouch Vega. The Vega glides over my neck and chest. Then I follow up with a neck cream.
