Heat Holders for the Holidays!

PR Samples, Affiliate Links, Informational Link

The temperatures have been up and down all autumn here in Massachusetts north of Boston. But though we haven’t had many days in the 30s and below yet, it still feel cold and raw. As a result, I have had a number of occasions to pull out the Heat Holders.

Heat Holders Clothing & Accessories

I wrote about my Heat Holders socks, gloves and hat last year (here) and (here), and I was fortunate to get to add to my collection this year. I spend quite a bit of time outdoors all year round, so keeping warm in the winter is important to me. Also, with heating bills rising precipitously, staying warm in the house while keeping the thermostat lower means putting on layers or wearing warmer clothes.

This year, I received a Thermal Underwear top and two different pairs of slipper socks.

Heat Holders Lite Thermal Underwear

Something must have gotten lost in translation (just kidding, HH is an American company), because instead of getting the Women’s size Medium Lite Thermal Underwear top, I received a Men’s size Medium.

But no big deal, the Men’s top is a little roomier and the sleeves are a few inches too long. However, rolling the sleeves is an easy solution, and I can wear an additional base layer under the top on days that are really cold.

In fact, I am wear my black Heat Holders Lite Thermal Underwear Base Layer top right now, and I feel nice and cozy! Thermal Underwear for both men and women come in three weights:

  • Ultra Lite: warm
  • Lite: warmer
  • Original: warmest.

I asked for Lite/warmer which is described as “medium weight warmth for very cold days”, and I’m pleased with it. It is lined with Heat Holder’s own type of fleece so it’s cozy and soft on my skin. As I mentioned, I’m wearing it now as a regular top in the house, and I don’t need to wear a sweater over it when the indoor heat is set to 68 degrees. I think it will be perfect under my lighter weight parka for hiking on a day where the temperature is in the mid-40s-50 range. On real winter days when we snowshoe, I think I will wear it with a nylon/polyester base layer underneath or with another layer on top under my heavier parka.

The Men’s Thermal Underwear Base Layer tops come in Black or Iron Grey, while the Women’s tops come in Black or Winter White. Both are priced at $34.99. Compared to other sports brands, the prices of Heat Holders apparel and accessories are a steal!

Heat Holders Slipper Socks

I received two different pairs of Women’s Ankle Slipper Socks: one pair with grips on the bottom and one pair without:

  • Women’s Iris Twist Ankle Slipper Socks are lined with the soft and cozy brushed fleece that make them Heat Holdest warmest thermal slipper socks. I like the ankle length slipper socks since I’m wearing them around the house with jeans or tights. They come in 3 colors and are priced at $13.99. They fit women’s sizes 5-9.

  • Women’s Ankle Socks are also lined with brushed fleece. Though the back of the product card calls these Ankle Slippers that are “good for lounging around the home”, they are shown on the website in the socks category. I think these warm, cozy ankle socks that do not have grips on the bottom can be worn as bed socks, lounging socks or ankle socks under boots outdoors on a cold day especially if I’m wearing tights under my snow pants or hiking pants. They come in 7 colors, also fit women’s sizes 5-9 and are priced at $11.99.

Other Info

Heat Holders cold weather apparel and accessories come in sizes for men, women and kids. They also make blankets! I think Heat Holders product would make fabulous holiday gifts and stocking stuffers.

You can shop Heat Holders on their website where, right now, Heat Holders is having a 20% off sale with the code THANKS at checkout.

HH products are also sold at retail stores like Macy’s, Target, Kohl’s and more, on Amazon, or at Heat Holder Pop-Up Stores.  They just opened a Pop-up Store in Massachusetts, but unfortunately for me, it’s on the South Shore in Braintree MA and I live on the North shore which means I would have to drive through or around Boston to get there. Boo!

I will check out Heat Holders at Macy’s (where Rakuten is offering 12% cash back now and they have a Cyber Monday sale on HH), Kohl’s or Target and maybe pick up a Women’s size Thermal Base Layer Top!

The only thing I ever got was their blanket. And it is wonderful. You should have one for evenings that there is a chill but don’t really want to turn the heat up any higher.

    1. I am eager to get one of their blankets, Gloria! I need to check out the styles ASAP
