Sale Alerts

4th of July ’23 Beauty Sales

I’ve been waiting for the July 4th sales to pick up a couple of things I need or want. And my patience seems to be paying off in spite of the fact that there seem to be fewer sales than usual.

One of the Friends & Family sales that I took advantage of is Tatcha. But sadly, it was a pre-July 4 sale that ended last week. I scored a bottle of my favorite facial primer, Tatcha The Silk Canvas Primer, and a mini size jar of The Rice Polish “Gentle” to try out.

Surprisingly, I found my favorite lightweight facial oil, Korres Velvet Skin Drink, on sale last night on Sephora.com. It’s normally $50, and I paid $35. Just in time, too because I’m almost at the end of the bottle.

Although I got a good deal at Sephora, don’t forget to check online retailers like Lovelyskin (10-25% off with JULY23), Dermstore, Skinstore (up to 25% off with code JULY4 plus 15% cashback on Rakuten), etc. or the brand itself for good sales.

Technically not a sale, I managed to pick up another of my favorite and most used eyeliner pencils, Victoria Beckham Beauty Satin Kajal Liner, yesterday with free shipping. VB usually has a fairly high minimum to qualify for free shipping, and it just isn’t worth it for a single eyeliner pencil. The free shipping on everything goes just another day or two, so if you’ve been wanting to try the brand or replace something, now’s a good time.

This isn’t going to be an exhaustive list of sales, but if you have anything you need or want, now is the time to look for it. Chances are there’s a sale somewhere!

July 4th Holiday

Because the July 4th holiday is on Tuesday, many of us are looking forward to a long holiday. Although the weather here may have thunderstorms every day, boo hoo, I may take some time off. My aunt may come to visit. Jeff and I have a few fun things going on. So I will pop in and out over the next week.

Have a wonderful holiday, if you’re in the U.S.
