Sutra Fast Dry Hair Drying Towel

I mentioned the Sutra Fast Dry Hair Drying Towel in my post about my recent Ipsy mini-haul during their big summer sale. At that point, I hadn’t tried the towel yet. Well, I have been using since then, and it’s even better than I expected!

First, I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to wrap and secure the towel correctly around my hair. No problem! Just bend over and let my hair hang down. Put the towel over my head and hair with the securing loop at the top. Twist the towel with my hair in it and put the “tail” of the towel through the loop. Magically, it stays in place!

The towel is unbelievably soft. The microfiber fabric is amazingly absorbent.

I left the towel on my hair, while I applied my body butter, deodorant and my facial serums, sunscreen and moisturizer. Then I removed the towel, and my hair was almost dry! It took about 4 minutes to dry my hair with my Dyson today. Much faster than it used to take.

Honestly, I thought my AQUIS Microfiber Towel was the gold standard, but maybe because it is almost 10 years old and feels dry compared to the new towel, it doesn’t absorb water as well as it used to. The Sutra Fast Dry Hair Drying Towel superseded the AQUIS’ current drying capacity by a long shot.

I lucked out and bought the Sutra Microfiber Towel on Ipsy for $10. The regular price of Sutra Fast Dry Hair Drying Towel is $25 at Target.com, Amazon and Macy’s. Still worth it in my opinion!

I’ve had to replace my Aquis several times because I wasn’t feeling it great to use. I’ll have
to remember this for my next replacement.

    1. Thanks for letting me know about that, Marcia. I tend to keep everything forever rather than throwing it out. I am very happy with the Sutra Beauty towel.

  2. This is my favorite type of hair drying towel. It seems to be more effective than the cap type. I will keep this in mind the next time I need to replace one of mine! Thanks for this review, Allison!
