Jones Road The Best Eyeshadow is, for me, the best of the pressed powder eyeshadow. What I love most about this eyeshadow is how creamy and moisturizing this pressed powder is. It’s amazing, really. A powder that feels like cream on my skin.

“Velvety pigment” is the perfect description. The velvety and moisturizing formula clings to my skin and lasts better than any other powder shadow I have ever tried! The key ingredient is Oryza Sativa Extract. What the heck is that? Actually, it’s something any of us know, rice bran. “Oryza sativa (Asian cultivated rice) bran extract is a plant ingredient used in cosmetics to condition and soften skin.”
The color that I’ve been using is So Pretty, a versatile and perfect shade for me. It’s the color that I seek out over and over again: a taupe base with a sheer silver finish. It’s a gorgeous shimmer shadow.
But if a silvery taupe isn’t your thing, it comes in 15 shades split between mattes and shimmer shadows.
The cool thing about the shadow is that you can alter the way you wear each shade by the applicator brush you select:
- a fluffy brush for a sheer look
- a packed bristle brush for a deeper, denser look.

I’m not kidding about this eyeshadow. I was the one who didn’t like Bobbi Brown’s Jones Road most iconic product, Miracle Balm. But I love this one. And btw, it’s clean and cruelty-free.
