A while ago, I was sent a couple of skincare products to try out for possible review. As sometimes happens, the products disappeared into my skincare stash, and I forgot about them. But several weeks ago, I got serious about trying to whittle that stash down. While consolidating and purging items, I came across b. glen QuSome Moisture Rich Cream. The packaging was so attractive that I immediately put it into my rotation.

b. glen stands for Beverly Glen Laboratories. It is a Japanese brand with skincare, haircare and oral care products developed and manufactured in Japan. Their products are sold in Japan, the U.S. and in countries throughout Asia.
When it comes to skincare, b. glen’s point-of-difference is that they have taken a medical-grade drug delivery system and applied it to their skincare products. As their website reminded me, often times the active ingredients in skincare products do not/are not able to penetrate the layers of the skin to reach their target. Depressing, right?

What It’s Like and How To Use It
b. glen QuSome Moisture Rich Cream is released from its silvery round bottle by pressing down on the off-white round top of the airless pump. Airless pumps maintain the effectiveness of the active ingredients and the freshness of the cream itself.
The off-white cream was a surprise when I first tried it. It comes out as a thin “stream”, but once applied to my skin, it feels rich. It dries very quickly to a velvety finish.
b. glen recommends applying QuSome Moisture Rich Cream the way all moisturizers and anti-aging creams should be applied. Pump out 1-2 pumps of cream into the palm of your hand. Dot your face on cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin. Starting in the center of the face, use both hands to smooth the cream from the middle of the face to the outside, circling around the eyes. Then, place your hands on either side of the face and press the cream into the skin.
QuSome Moisture Rich Cream can be used by all ages and all skin types. It has no added fragrance, and I do not perceive it as having a scent. Since it’s still summer and the daytime temperatures are still warm, I use it at night now . In the colder weather, I can use it day and/or night. For my mature, dry skin, it feels protective and soothing. I love it!
