One of my favorite blushes is Milani’s Baked Blush in Rose D’Oro, a copper with gold flecks. It’s like it was made for me! Milani’s website describes the Baked Blushes as “a melange infusion of colors based on Italian terra-cotta tiles”. I can definitely see that in the Rose D’Oro.
As much as I love Rose D’Oro, a girl can never have too many blushes. So I was happy when I got the chance to try out Milani’s new Baked Blush shades for Spring 2014: Delizioso Pink and Bella Rosa.
Delizioso Pink is hot pink with violet undertones. It’s almost a Radiant Orchid, Pantone’s Color of 2014, but with a little more pink. This new blush shade looks great with my cool skin tone, but it would look just as good on warm tones as well.
Bella Rose is a deep pink that’s almost red, wow. What a gorgeous shade! I have to apply it on my fair skin with a very light hand, but I think it would be incredible on darker or deeper skin tones. Actually, so would Delizioso Pink. Frankly, Milani makes the most amazing shades that look great on women of all skin tones.
Here are the swatches, the first in sunlight and the second in cooler indirect daylight:
The Baked Blushes are definitely powdery. Make sure you tap off the excess before you apply. But I found these to be quite blendable. And they are very long lasting: after 10 hours, it was still going strong on my dry skin. In this pic, I’m wearing Delizioso Pink, as I mentioned, applied with a light hand. Speaking of application, Milani Baked Blush comes with a mirror and a brush that you will find when you flip up the pan. Handy for on the go application, but probably not as good as your own blush brush.
Milani Baked Blushes now come in 8 shades, from soft to vibrant, light to dark:
They are made in Italy and priced at $7.99. They are available in the U.S. at CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Kmart, and on milanicosmetics.com. They are also cruelty-free.

I love Milani’s packaging too. It reminds me of Estee Lauder in the drugstore with the gold.
I have also a Bella Rosa Milani Baked Blush. I love it. It doesn’t clog pores. Give really a nice peachy tone. Which I can wear at any party or office. Its transper lid helps us to choose right color matching with our skin tone. I recommend all to buy it.

It is a shame that Milani isn’t sold worldwide. It’s an amazing bargain for the quality that you get from a drugstore brand. You can order from their website, but I don’t know if they ship internationally. I wish I could give you mine 😉
I like the pink tones. The color looks nice on you.

I have been trying to locate these shades with no luck. I can see Fred Meyer has spots for them, so when they finally go in stock they are MINE lol.
