Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturizing Balm Stain and Easy Liner for Lips

I’m loving all the lip products I recently received from Jordana for Spring 2015. It’s an embarrassment of riches! Today, I’d like to show you the new additions to the Twist & Shine Moisturizing Lip Balm Stain and the Easyliner for Liips product lines.

Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturizing Lip Balm Stain

Jordana has added two new shades for spring to the 8 lip crayons already in its Twist & Shine Moisturizing Balm Stain lineup:

  • Gorgeous Peony 09
  • Fresh Fig 10.

These lovely shades are so pretty. Here are the swatches:

Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturizing Lip Balm Stain

This is what Jordana has to say about the Twist & Shine Balm Stains:

  • Moisturizing Balm Infused with a Light-Weight Stain
  • Applies with a Glossy Finish then Transforms into the Perfect Flush of Color
  • Long-Lasting
  • Retractable, No Sharpening Required
  • Paraben-Free
  • Made in USA

This is my first experience with Jordana’s moisturizing balm stains, and I love ’em! They are super hydrating, and they don’t have the dreaded peppermint oil, thank goodness. They go on glossy but after a couple of hours, they dry down to a nice stain. They are positioned as a “light-weight” stain, but I have found the stain does seem to last even through a meal and that surprised me. To keep the glossy look requires re-application, but I don’t mind that. They are just a pleasure to wear. Both shades are so flattering. Fresh Fig is my go-to lippie for everyday!

Jordana Easyliner for Lips

Complementing the two new additions to the Twist & Shine Balm Stain line are two new shades of Easyliner for Lips:

  • Rose Crush 25
  • Pink Love 26.

  • Retractable-No Sharpening Required
  • Silky Smooth Soft Glide Formula

The description really fits. These lip pencils are a cinch to apply. They are ultra-creamy and they feel good on my lips. I love the fact that they don’t need sharpening!

These two shades go so well with the two new crayons. Here are the swatches of them all together:

  1. These look familiar. *wink wink* 😉 I have to side with you on how great the formula is. I adore the Gorgeous Peony!! TY!!! It goes so well with my coloring. But I am also loving the Fresh Fig as well. I bet it looks like a million bucks on you! That shade will be my first Jordana purchase for sure. I am aghast at the low price point for these crayons.

    1. Ah, Laura, I thought you liked nudes so that’s why Gorgeous Peony. But I must admit, I have fallen for Fresh Fig. Definitely worth picking it up at that price! And the Easyliner pencils are super creamy and a breeze to apply, too. All around very impressive launches from Jordana this spring! I didn’t have much experience with the brand, and didn’t know what to expect 🙂

  8. Jordana is an amazing deal. I have an older coral Twist ‘n Shine that looks amazing. I wore it when I visited my dad in the hospital, and when I left, I gave him a kiss on the cheek. The next day, it was still there on his cheek! lol.

    1. It’s a lovely pale pinky peach like the peonies that I wish I had!

  12. Gorgeous Peony is exactly the kind of shade I adore, and it has a matching lip pencil so that’s even better! Drugstore brands are greatly improving their lipsticks and balms, it’s exciting!

  13. Since I haven’t found Jordana in my area I did an online order. Next time I’ll have to add in some of these lip products. I love the prices, I never feel guilty about buying the line.

    1. They are so darn inexpensive! I’ve been surprised how good the quality is on everything I’ve tried from the new spring collections. Yay. Too bad they aren’t in your Walgreens. In my area, one Walgreens carries some but not all of the line.

  14. I’ve still never tried anything from this line before. I really, really need to figure out where to purchase it at because I keep seeing some great posts about the line!!
Christine recently posted…The Academy Awards Best DressedMy Profile

    1. Christine, at the bottom of my post, I always write where products are sold. Most Walgreen’s carry Jordana, but they don’t always carry the entire line. However, these lip balms and also the matte lipsticks I’m sure will be in most Walgreens, if not right now, then within a couple of weeks. If not, they are sold on the Jordana website 🙂

      1. Yeah, I saw that, but our Walgreens for some reason doesn’t seem to carry the brand! I guess I’ll have to order online!
Christine recently posted…Blogger Men Tell All:February LinkupMy Profile

        1. Ah. Jordana tends to be carried in Walgreens in neighborhoods with a greater concentration of darker skinned women.

  15. Oh how pretty! Jordana’s Peony looks a lot like the shade of Stila’s Convertible Color in Peony. I’m not a big fan of Stila’s on the lips, so maybe I should get my hands on that Jordana color! Pink Love looks super nice, too!

    1. I can’t wear the Stila lip balms because the peppermint oil in them dries out and irritates my lips. No problems with the Jordana lip balms. And at this price, it’s worth a try! I love ’em

  16. Love the two lipstick shades, great for everyday wear!

  18. Apparently Jordana makes some pretty awesome makeup!! I love the color of Fresh Fig and the shine is beautiful!

  19. I think I just saw these in Walgreens! I think the fig looks fantastic.

  28. The fig shade is really pretty, but to me the name doesn’t quite match what I think of as fig, so thank you for the swatches. I may have passed it by, just because of the name!
    Lisa recently posted…Squarehue: The 1910s – February 2015My Profile

    1. Actually, it is quite fig-like but maybe not quite as dark as a fig newton but more the shade of a fresh fig if you bite or cut into it. I would also say it’s a great Marsala shade. I love this shade and wear it all the time, love the gloss and the stain it provides. And the Jordana Modern Matte lipsticks are also worth checking out. They’re my fave lipsticks. And the prices on both of these lines are incredible!
