Two years ago, I wrote about Aroma Season USB Warm Eye Mask (reviewed originally here).
I’ve mentioned a number of times that I have dry eye and blepharitis, and I need to treat my eyes daily with moist heat for 10 minutes. I spray the mask cover with a little water, and then turn on the unit and timer for about 10 minutes. It shuts itself off when the time is reached.
Although I have been doing it for more than 10 years, it can be a pain in the neck to have yet another regimen that I have to do. But when I skip it for more than a day or two, my eyes feel much dryer, like I have sand particles in them.
Another benefit is that the Aroma Season USB Warm Eye Mask is very relaxing. It often helps me fall asleep at night.
So why am I reprising my review of Aroma Season USB Warm Eye Mask? On Tuesday, I was in a hurry to do the laundry, and I wanted to wash the mask cover, something I try to do once a week. In my haste, I forgot to remove the heating unit that goes inside the zippered mask cover. I didn’t realize it until the wash was finished and I took it out of the machine. I literally gasped when I realized what I had done. I let it air dry and hoped for the best.
To my surprise, it still works! It heats up with no problem. Thank goodness! I hope I won’t make that mistake again.
If you have dry eye or just like to relax with a heated mask, check out Aroma Season on Amazon. They have a number of different styles. The mask I bought is still available for about $25, and as you can tell, it has exceeded my expectations. Since I bought it two years ago, they changed the timer so that the shortest time you can set it to now is 20 minutes instead of 10. I don’t think that’s a big deal.
This sounds wonderful and relaxing! This would be perfect to use right before going to sleep!

Oh, I’m sure it feels so good! I have a similar one but I usually use it cold.
