Amalie Beauty Shine Organic Brightening Facial Oil Giveaway

Press Sample - Affiliate Links

Amalie Beauty makes one of my favorite beauty products, Wink Lash and Brow Oil. I wrote about it recently in my Favorites post, and I reviewed it (here) about a year ago. Outside of straight castor oil, it’s the only lash oil that I can use on my sensitive eyes, and I love the brush dispenser that it comes in. It definitely makes my lashes grow longer, and they look fuller too. Great stuff!

In addition, Amalie Beauty makes wonderful facial oils. In fact, Amalie Beauty has improved and updated their Shine Brightening Oil.

Shine Brightening Facial Oil, outer box, neversaydiebeauty.com

It’s a super vitamin C oil made with 75% organic ingredients including:

  • vitamin C from pomegranate
  • arbutin from bearberry
  • glabridin (an isoflavinoid that inhibits the production of melanin) from licorice
  • argan and jojoba oils.

Shine Brightening Oil helps brighten skin, even skin tone, fade dark spots and blemish marks, while moisturizing and nourishing skin with vitamin E.

The original Shine and this new version of Shine have a lovely jasmine scent. If you are a jasmine-lover, you will truly fall in love with the scent of this pale golden elixir. Though the scent does fade after a while, but you get a good hit of jasmine that lingers. But if you’re not a jasmine fan, Shine is now available in an unscented version as well.

Shine Brightening Oil comes in a pretty white glass bottle with a dropper. About 4 drops is enough to cover my entire face.

The lightweight oil can be enough moisture on its own, or you can follow up with moisturizer or night cream. It can be used in the morning and at night.

You can apply Shine to specific spots that you’re trying to fade or all over your face for general brightening. I’ve mostly been wearing it all over my face but paying special attention to my dark spots. I swear they look a little lighter than they did before, and these are the impossible to get rid of dark spots that I’ve been working on for several years.

Shine Brightening Oil contains 10 ml/0.34 oz. and is priced at $60. Amalie Beauty has a subscription program in which you can have a new bottle sent to you automatically in 30/60/90/120 days according to your needs and you save 5% on your purchases. This luxurious facial oil is sold on the Amalie Beauty website. Cruelty-free. Non-toxic. Made in small batches in the U.S.

Ingredients: Organic Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Oil, Organic Argania Spinosa (Argan) Oil, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, Helianthus Annuus Sunflower (Seed) Oil, Organic Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Arctostaphylos Uva Ursi Leaf (Bearberry) Extract, Sambucus Nigra (Elderberry) Fruit Extract, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit Seed) Oil, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Oil.

  3. Raine says:

This product sounds positively delightful, I’m familiar with some of the ingredients but not with the arbutin or glabridin. I’m excited to try it because I have fair skin and whenever I get an adult break out it takes months if not longer for the red side to feed long after the pimple is gone. Plus I’m always looking for great new products to give my forty-three-year-old skin a nice kick I’m definitely very excited to try it.

    1. Arbutin is a whitening/brightening ingredient that you often find in Japanese and Korean skincare products. But glabridin was new to me too. This is such a lovely serum/moisturizing oil, Raine. I know you’d love it. Thanks for entering and good luck!

  24. Paula K says:

This oil sounds absolutely divine! I recently purchased a vitamin c suspension for the brightening effect for my skin but to be perfectly honest I have only used it a few times. It has a real gritty feeling when I put it on and because of that it is not a pleasure at all to use and I actually use my night time skin care routine as a way to unwind after a long day. For some reason smearing wonderful feeling and smelling products on my face and neck is pretty relaxing. Yep I know I am pretty dang weird:)

  25. I’d want to win because of the brightening aspect. I have a couple small dots here and there that I’m working to fade
