Arvazallia Argan Oil Premium Hair Treatment Oil and Hydrating Mask: Silkiness Maximized!

And the moral of the story for me is get out of my comfort zone. Break old habits. Try something new! What am I talking about? Hair care, of course.

Recently, I had the opportunity to try two hair care products from Arvazallia, a company that is offering their professional series haircare products direct to consumers. When it comes to my chemically-treated red hair that I spend so much money on maintaining, I usually don’t experiment with hair products all that much. I usually shampoo, condition, use an anti-frizz spray, blow dry my hair, and follow up with a flat iron cranked as high as it can go. By sticking with the same hair care products, I now know I am definitely missing out.

I was sent Arvazallia Premium Argan Oil Hair Treatment and Hydrating Argan Oil Mask to try.

Arvazallia Hair Products

Argan oil has been popular for quite a while now. I use argan oil on my face from time to time. You probably know this already, but argan oil is extracted from a nut that grows on the Moroccan argan tree. In fact, in 1998, the Argan forest in Morocco was designated a UNESCO protected biosphere so that argan oil is and will be sustainable. It has moisturizing qualities that make it great for moisturizers and hair care.

My only complaint about both of these products is that the font on both the box and the products is minuscule and the color of the font is unreadable on the box. Clearly, no one over 40 is the target for these products, LOL, because I cannot read the directions! I probably should have gone to the website first to read about how to use the products, but I decided to wing it.

Arvazallia Premium Argan Oil Hair Treatment

First, I tried the Premium Argan Oil Hair Treatment. The beautiful, elegantly shaped glass pump bottle is packaged in a nice box to help protect the glass bottle.

The treatment is a golden oil with a gorgeous light scent.

I washed and lightly conditioned my hair so I could get a comb through it. I have a lot of thick, coarse shoulder-length hair, and I needed about three pumps to get enough oil to spread throughout my hair. I’m sure most people would need only two. While I combed it, my hair felt amazing – thick, strong and slippery — even while it was wet 🙂

I blow dried my hair and flat ironed it as always. My hair felt and looked great afterwards. It felt silky, moisturized and fabulous. I didn’t realize that this product could help my hair color look brighter and more vibrant. Yes!

Because my delicate red color fades so easily, I try to wash my hair only every three days. After using the Argan Oil Hair Treatment, my hair seemed to get dirtier sooner than usual. That’s when I realized that I didn’t need to condition my hair before applying the hair treatment. Duh! Next time, I’ll skip my usual conditioner and also the anti-frizz spray, and just use the argan oil hair treatment. And when I finally visited the website, I saw that Arvazallia Argan Oil Treatment Oil is described as “a leave-in treatment, conditioner, and dry scalp moisturizer.” Oh, got it now!

The website lists the product’s benefits:

  • Improves manageability
  • Makes even frizzy and difficult to manage hair silky, soft, and easier to manage
  • Awakens dull hair
  • Provides hair with a radiant and magnificent shine
  • Restore damaged hair
  • Nourishes, strengthens, and restores damaged, over-processed and brittle hair
  • Color enhancer
  • Enhances color treatments by helping to ensure color is applied evenly.
  • Heat protection
  • Protects hair from damage when curling or using flat irons.

Yes, I think it did all those things!

Arvazallia Premium Argan Oil Hair Treatment is 3.4 fl. oz./100 ml. Since I only need a few pumps at a time, it will last me a long time. You can check it out here: http://www.arvazallia.com/premiumarganoilbbpromo

Arvazallia Hydrating Argan Oil Mask

Did I mention I’m lazy? I have not done a deep conditioner or mask in years. I hate to get out of the shower, apply the mask, and have to wait and then get back in the shower to rinse it out. So I don’t usually do it. But I had to do it to try out the product.

This time, I managed to read the tiny font on the Arvazallia Hydrating Argan Oil Mask for the directions. I wanted to make sure I applied this product correctly.

Arvazallia Hydrating Argan Oil Mask

Last night, I showered and shampooed my hair. I got out of the shower, towel-dried my hair, applied the thick, luxurious mask throughout my hair. I would say it took about 2 tablespoons for my thick mop!

I  wrapped up my hair, and since I had to wait 7 minutes till I could wash out the mask, I decided to give myself a facial. I applied my favorite facial mask: the heavenly, orange-scented, gentle, pop-rocks Radical Skincare Instant Revitalizing Mask.

Both my face mask and hair mask were ready at the same time. I got back in the shower and washed them both off. The Hydrating Argan Oil Mask removed all of my tangles and my wet hair was as smooth as silk. I combed it and blew my hair dry. Surprisingly, my hair was frizz-free, and it was almost straight after blow drying which is a rarity for my wavy-ish hair. I almost didn’t need to flat iron, which is a miracle. But I decided to flat iron it since that’s what I usually do. After flat-ironing, my hair was beautifully straight, silky smooth and super shiny. Love it! And the next day, my hair was still straight and shiny and clean.

Here’s a photo of me with my newly conditioned hair! Love it <3

I definitely can do this once once a week with no problem. It is so worth the few minutes of extra time!

This is what the Arvazallia website says about the mask:

  • Repairs and revitalizes damaged hair
  • Repairs, restores, and strengthens weak, damaged, and overprocessed hair
  • Reinvigorates dry hair
  • Deeply conditions, hydrates, and noisturizes hair giving it a soft and silky texture
  • Improves elasticity and manageability
  • Revives dull and dry hair improving its manageability and elasticity and giving it a beautiful shine
  • Strengthens hair
  • Nourishes hair with the highest quality cosmetic grade argan oil rich in essential vitamins and nutrients
  • Heat protection
  • Protects and shields hair from damage caused by heat styling

Again, I agree!

The Hydrating Argan Oil Mask comes in a plastic tub jar. It holds 8.45 fl. oz, 250 ml. It’s a pretty big jar, and will last me a few months. You can check it out here: http://www.arvazallia.com/hydratingmaskbbpromo. And Arvazallia is so confident that you’ll love the mask and hair treatment that both products come with a money back guarantee.

Amazon is currently selling both products for 60% off! It is definitely a deal, luxury priced like drugstore products 🙂

The older I get the lazier I get about beauty treatments. I don’t know why I worried so much about it when I was younger when I didn’t need it. Now if I am going to do anything it has to be fast and easy. The less like a chore it seems the more likely I am to use it. Because of that I tend to use spray nozzle items the most on my hair. I need to break out of my comfort zone too. Your review
inspired me to work on that.
P.S. I love your face mask pic. Too cute.

    1. Laura, I’m the same way. I’m glad these products pushed me to do something different. The mask really made a difference, and I will continue to use it a couple of times a month. The face mask is also the best. That takes no time, and it is so worth it! Glad you liked the masked face, lol 😉

  2. Wow! Your hair looks incredibly soft and your skin too. I am a big fan of argan oil for my hair, these products look like something i might need to try!

    1. Thanks, Judy. I sometimes use rosehip oil on my skin so maybe that’s what did it for my skin. And yes, my hair is incredibly soft!!

  3. I always have a battle with my hair. My hair need something different than my scalp, so it’s a tug or war as to which will erupt next!

    1. That is a bummer, Destany. I did not apply either product to my scalp since I didn’t think my scalp needed it.

  4. You convinced me, Allison!
I don’t remember when was the last time I applied a hair mask, but this one looks perfect for my dry hair.
Between, there is always a big bang when I am in the shower, I mean my kids taking advantage of me being not available to stop their craziness. So I am always in a hurry!
The only hair mask that I apply on a regular basis in henna ( if we could say henna is a hair mask), it requires a lot of work, especially when washing it off, but I like it more than chemicals.
Allison, does the hair mask make your scalp oily? I have oily scalp and dry hair, could it make a balance between both?
Dima Al Mahsiri recently posted…How to Choose the Right Hairbrush for Your Hair?My Profile

    1. I loved the mask, Dima. And as you could see from the pix, I got out of the shower to apply the hair mask and my face mask. Then I got back in and washed it all off about 10 minutes later. So I guess your kids would have two breaks to get up to mischief while you were in the shower, lol! I applied the mask to my hair and I avoided my scalp. I don’t have dry scalp or oily scalp but I didn’t think my scalp needed it. So it didn’t affect my scalp at all. What is quite interesting is the effect of the mask seems to have lasted for a couple of shampoos. My hair definitely feels silkier than it did prior to using the mask. I don’t think I will be doing the mask as often as the product suggests because I don’t think I need it that often. But I will do it every couple of weeks.

  5. Ooooh sounds like the perfect pamper. Face mask and hair mask together. Perfect mulit-tasking. This hair mask sounds dreamy. I need to whip my split ends into healthy summer shape.

  22. Oh the mask sounds divine but I just can’t imagine myself taking 2 showers! So time consuming and I’m just to lazy! I use regular argan oil as a pre shampoo treatment once in a while and it does give good results, maybe I should do it more often… if I weren’t so lazy! 🙂

  23. I use this exact oil daily!!

    1. it was fun, Kimmi! I love those two masks 🙂

  30. This just sounds delicious. I’ve never ever thought about not conditioning when I planned to use oil on my hair. I’ve always just done the deep conditioning and then using argan oil. I’ve learned a lot in this point. These products sound very nice.

    1. Thanks, Shelley! I have a lot of thick hair and I have to use quite a few pumps of the Arvazallia Argan Oil Hair Treatment if I don’t use a conditioner to get through all of my locks. Or I can use less conditioner and a little less argan oil. It’s fun to play around with the amounts.

  31. Revisiting this topic…. I got a jar of this for Christmas and I love it! But I use it just like I would use a regular conditioner. I put it on in the shower after I shampoo, and then I lather up the rest of me, shave my legs, whatever…. and then rinse just before I get out. It works wonderfully well this way! And my hair stays soft and bright for a couple days after. I don’t massage it into my scalp–my hair isn’t that dry–but I think it would feel wonderful if you need the moisture. Great find.

    1. I need to dig out my jar of it and start using it again, Kim. Thanks for reminding me about the mask. I’ve been using the oil on my body and it’s been fabulous for that as well as for my hair. It is good stuff, isn’t it!
