Be A Bombshell, A Fun Indie Brand

Be A Bombshell is an indie makeup brand that I was introduced to via my November ipsy bag. I received a lip crayon in Hot Damn, a bright red that’s perfect for me and is so comfortable to wear.

As part of the ipsy subscription, I receive a percent off additional purchases from the brands in the bag for the next month. I liked my Be A Bombshell lip crayon so much that I bought another one in Some Beach, a bright, almost fluorescent peachy shade that’ll be great for spring and summer. The lip crayons come in 6 shades and are priced at $14.

To really take advantage of the 20% off, I also bought The One Stick in Flustered, a multi-purpose chubby stick that can be used as a blush or a lip product. I was intrigued by the product form.

Since I have a zillion lipsticks, lip crayons, lip balms, liquid lipsticks, and lip glosses, I use The One Stick as a blush.  Flustered  is a somewhat bright but very blendable deep pink. It’s a little brighter blush than I usually wear, but I like it a lot.

It’s not super long-lasting, but it stays on for a few hours and that’s fine for me. Wouldn’t you know, in the December ipsy bag I received another One Stick in the same shade I just purchased! I’ve put it aside for a giveaway on the blog in the coming weeks. The One Stick comes in 7 shades and is priced at $16.

Perhaps since it was Christmas time and because I’m an ipsy subscriber, I received an extra bonus along with my purchases, a free lipgloss in Cocoa Delight! How did they know I needed that shade? It’s a gorgeous nude that looks great with my nude lipsticks. Thanks for thinking of me, Be A Bombshell <3 The lipgloss comes in 14 shades and is priced at $14.

Anyway, I love the products I’ve tried from Be A Bombshell. The colors are great, and the prices are affordable. If you’re not familiar with the brand, visit BeABombshell.com and take a look!  Be A Bombshell doesn’t test on animals. Shipping is a reasonable $2.00. It’s a fun brand. 😉

Thanks, Kim! I like pinks, but I also think it’s the grey winter light that makes my eyes look so blue 😉

I think it’s a fun, affordable brand, Tina. I love that they have $2 shipping.

  6. This does look like a fun brand! How are the lip glosses? Sticky? What is the scent/taste? I’m kinda picky on scent/taste .. I’m not a fan of vanilla .. but love minty glosses.

Gee, Monica, I’m going to have to check the BAB lipgloss when I’m home. I don’t think it had any discernible scent. I’ll have to check on the stickiness. Other than a liquid lipstick, I haven’t found any glosses that aren’t sticky. I just tried the new Milani Lip Intense. They are not at all sticky but they’re more like liquid lipstick. Their Power Lip line, a gloss/stain combo, is not at all sticky either.

  7. I do!!! I am so gloriously surprised by how wonderful all the products are!
