I like a local show sometimes. And having done a few myself I know the work that goes into them. I’m glad you had fun and that the show was a hit! Congrats to your friend and the rest of the cast!!! My own personal “I haven’t laughed so long in ages” award goes to a production of Escanaba In Da Moonlight that was done last year. Or maybe it was the year before…oh dear time does get away from one…lol! It was probably the most hysterical thing I’ve ever seen performed live, and I literally laughed so hard I cried. For nearly the length of the entire show. And I wasn’t the only one either. There were fits of giggles everywhere and it’s truly a wonder anyone in the cast could keep a straight face! I know it’s a movie but I haven’t seen the actual film and now I’m almost afraid to, since I don’t think anything could live up to that show. Sometimes a cast just really REALLY gels with a script and this was one of those instances. I heard through the grapevine that they might have won some regional awards for the production and I hope that’s true, because they really deserved it.
