Yesterday was the longest day of the year. It’s all downhill from here, lol. Actually, because our spring was so rainy and cold, I feel like we missed out on the spring nights as the days got longer. Oh well, no sense complaining about it too much. I hope the rain will become less frequent so we can get out and enjoy the summer days and evenings to come.
After a rainy Thursday and Friday, we’re supposed to have a nice weekend. My little rustic beach club had its season kickoff cocktail party last night. Though it was too rainy and chilly to be outside, it was great to see our summer friends again. Hoping to get back to the beach either this afternoon or certainly on Sunday.
