Even though summer officially goes till about September 21, you can tell it’s one of the last weekends of August. People are on end of summer vacations or getting their kids ready to go back to school if they haven’t gone back already. In fact, the list of posts from the Beauty Spotlight Team this week looks a little short to me. But take a look anyway. Because our summer here in New England is so short, I am sad. We’re expecting more thunderstorms and then rain and colder temperatures again this weekend. Three weekends in a row. Boo! But I’m hoping to get to the beach tomorrow before the storms and also to the annual Waterfront Festival in Gloucester. I’m hoping that Daphne from Nature Island Botanicals will be there so I can stock up on her beautiful, fragrant handmade soaps and body lotions and butters.
