I went crazy for the Bite Beauty Lipstick Duos that came out for the holiday season 2014 (reviewed here). I bought two of ’em and another for a gift.
Bite Beauty just came out with a new duo that’s perfect for spring and summer: Bite Beauty Vivid Luminous Creme Lipstick Duos. And they call it Vivid for a reason! I had been telling Laura from OH that I’ve been on the lookout for an orange lipstick, and now I got one and a raspberry one along for the ride. The two shades in this duo are Tangerine and Lingonberry.
The shades are fun and bright, and they remind me of Dunkin’ Donuts ‘coz those are DD’s colors!
I feel better wearing Bite Beauty lipsticks because they leave out the not-so-great ingredients that I would rather not have on my lips. I find Bite Beauty lipsticks comfortable to wear, and this one has a hydrating formula.

Bite Beauty Vivid Luminous Creme Lipstick Duos cost $12. The Fig/Date duo that I bought in December is available again. I bought mine at Sephora. Each side contains 0.05 oz/1.55g. They’re small, but they’re big enough for me. When was the last time you finished up a lipstick? They don’t have sulfates, phthalates or parabens. They’re gluten-free and cruelty-free. And they are made with food-grade ingredients plus Resveratrol for anti-aging benefits. I love ’em!

In person, it is a true orange, Laura, and I do love both colors especially on a sunny day! Plus, I love the mini-lipsticks.

Wow, this is a stunning combination. I have always loved pairing a true orange with a magenta, and in fact when I was a little kid I painted my desk combining those two colors! Both look absolutely gorgeous on you, Allison! I think that you found your long sought after perfect true orange!

I haven’t had a double ended product in years! I just find them hard to store – how do you store yours? Great colors though and the price is pretty darn reasonable!

I’m not sure what you mean – how do I store a double-end lipstick? I have 3 of these, and they usually just go right into my makeup bag! Or if they’re shades I don’t wear that often, they go into my storage boxes or containers. I don’t use a lipstick storage bin with separate compartments for individual lipsticks, if that’s what you mean?

Tangerine looks fabulous on you! I need to check out the Bite lipstick duos. I bought the Bite matte lip crayons last year when I saw the dusty rose shades and ignored these – it’s nice to get two lippies for the price of one, even if they’re smaller.

That berry is such a gorgeous shade for spring… I love these duos – I wish they were not so soft, mine seem to melt the minute I try to apply to my lips… but I love them regardless.

It must be… I can’t take mine with me anywhere or they melt in my bag… and applying them – they are soft. I am thankful my makeup is in my room and I have an AC on all day or they melt. Last year I lost Lychee to the melt… lol I love them nonetheless and deal with it because Bite’s lippies are fab.

OMG, that is amazing. I will have to keep that in mind if summer ever comes back. I usually keep these in my MU bag in my purse, and I often leave my bag locked in the car when we go to the beach. Ahhh I wish I read this review before heading to Sephora today! I’m definitely going to go back and pick one up! Both colors look gorgeous on you and I think $12 is something I could spend on 2 colors, even if they’re smaller sizes, I prefer them as opposed to full sized lippies!

I think the red hair helps the orange work. But when I was a blond, I often wore bright raspberry shade. Maybe get an inexpensive bright and give it a try, Agata?

Even if these shades aren’t for you, Ursula, Bite Beauty is a wonderful brand. They have oodles of better-for-you lippies made from food-grade ingredients. I have some lovely duos in neutral pairs and red pairs too!
