City Beauty must have read my mind. For ages, I’ve been wishing they would hold a sale on their entire product catalogue rather than just one specific product, and now they are doing just that!!
I Bought This, PR Sample, Affiliate Links
Today and tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday, March 15-16, 2021, everything is 30% off with the code SPRING30. Now is the time for me to restock some of my faves that I have used up. In fact, I have been waiting for a sale to replenish some of my favorite products, and now I can.
Over the years, I have tried quite a few of City Beauty’s products. As I’ve mentioned before, when I first started blogging, one of my friends asked me if I had tried City Lips and what I thought about it. Truth be told, I hadn’t heard about it. She had seen it on one of the morning shows on TV. I bought a tube of City Lips Clear, and the rest is history. I have been hooked for about 7 years, I think. Since then, I have tried a variety of City Beauty products. Several really suit me and have become staples in my routine. As always, what works for me may not suit you and vice versa, but here are my faves.
City Lips Plumping Lip Gloss
Because my lips are dry, I use lip balm all the time. City Lips Clear is my favorite. It contains hyaluronic acid and collagen, and using it just about everyday keeps my lips hydrated and comfortable. City Lips is a pain-free lip plumper: it doesn’t use peppermint to sting lips into looking fuller. Instead, the beneficial ingredients that I mentioned earlier give lips a plumped, fuller look. It also minimizes the look of lip lines. I apply it slightly outside of the contours of my lips to hydrate my lines and make them look less noticeable. Using City Lips over time has definitely made a difference in the health and appearance of my lips.
I don’t wear matte lipstick too often, but when I do, I wear City Lips Clear underneath to keep my lips feeling comfortable rather than dry.
Although I use City Lips Clear most often, I recently bought a tube of gorgeous opaque deep red, Red Velvet. It’s a stunner. City Lips Plumping Lip gloss has 14 shades: clear, 6 shimmers and 7 opaque. They also have a collection of matte shades that are not drying.
Eye Revive Firming Serum
I tried new Eye Revive Firming Serum earlier this year (reviewed here), and I recently finished up the tube. It lasted me about 10 weeks, I believe.
You know that I am on an endless quest to keep the skin above my eye crease firm rather than droopy. Eye Revive is a liquid that comes in a slim tube with a ceramic applicator that you use to massage a small amount of the elixir into the delicate skin from the brow bone to under the eye. The way I do it is I squeeze out a small amount onto my finger, pat it on the areas that I concentrate on, and then massage it in with the ceramic applicator.
Eye Revive hydrates with hyaluronic acid and several different hydrating ingredients. It firms and tightens sagging skin with advanced polymers. It does everything I want it to do.
Because I have blepharitis, I use it in conjunction with eye cream on my red eyelids. But if you don’t have dry eyelids like I do, you can use Eye Revive Firming Serum on its own. I am going to buy another tube during the sale. I love this stuff! It’s my favorite new product so far in 2021.

Brow Boost
For me, Brow Boost (originally reviewed here) is a two-in-one product. With peptides and natural extracts, it nourishes brows and stimulates growth to fill in empty patches to define the look of the brows.
As an added extra, it acts as a brow gel for me, keeping my brows in place. With mask-wearing and the added emphasis on eyes these days, Brow Boost is a terrific product to have in my arsenal. A little goes a long way!

MicroBiome Night Mask
MicroBiome Night Mask (originally reviewed here) is a lightweight, gorgeous lavender gel-cream to be used as a sleeping mask.
It works with the skin’s natural renewal processes so you wake up with skin that looks and feels plumped and refreshed. It balances the skin’s microbiome, strengthens the skin’s barrier to keep skin hydrates, and it minimizes the look of lines and wrinkles.
Another thing that I love about MicroBiome Night Mask is that I can use it in conjunction with other skincare products from my nighttime routine if I like, or use it on its own.
Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Isopentyldiol, Saccharomyces/Xylinum/Black Tea Ferment, Propylene Glycol, Propanediol, Bis-C16-20 Isoalkoxy TMHDI/PEG-90 Copolymer, Cetyl Alcohol, Caprylyl Methicone, Cetearyl Phosphate Ψ Lactobacillus, Pichia/Resveratrol Ferment Extract, Inulin, Caprylyl Glycol, Evodia Rutaecarpa Fruit Extract, Polymnia Sonchifolia Root Juice, Orobanche Rapum Extract, Chlorella Vulgaris Extract, Hydroxyacetophenone, Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Maltodextrin, Sodium Phytate, Violet 2.
Multi-Action Sculpting Cream
Multi Action Sculpting Cream (originally reviewed here) is another regular in my skincare products stash. I am on my third or fourth jar of this rich, off-white cream, and I have another jar waiting in the wings.
This is how City Beauty describes MASC: Multi-Action Sculpting Cream helps skin look firmer, tighter, and more lifted by nourishing it with essential building blocks that give skin a taut, springy feel.
I am all about firming, so I use Multi Action Sculpting Cream long my jawline to keep my skin from drooping. I sometimes use it on my neck. And I also use it on my expression lines around my mouth.
Plus I adore the golden spoon that comes with the jar 😉

Thank you to those of you have used my City Beauty affiliate links over the past year or so to shop. I really appreciate it since it helps to differ some of the costs of running my blog. xoxoxo

Yay! Great sale. So, in your opinion, the Sculpting Cream is not as thick as StriVectin? I need a new nighttime moisturizer…
Kim, Multi-Action Sculpting Cream, a firming cream, is thick and rich. I use it as a spot or area cream along my jawline, sometimes on my neck, and on my “marionette” lines/crease around my mouth, rather than all over my face. If you’re looking for a one and done nighttime moisturizer, the MicroBiome Night Mask is lovely, lightweight, moisturizing and protective. I hope this answers your question!
So far I have only tried their eye serum, and I absolutely LOVE it! I need to try more of their products!

You do!!
So glad you found products that work for you!
the plumping gloss sounds good. I use laneige when my lips are a mess. Does that mask smell like lavender too?
City Beauty MicroBiome Night Mask is unscented, although the lavender shade makes it look like it does. The plumping gloss is really good. I think I have gone through at least 25 tubes over the years. For my super-dry lips, it works better than Laneige.
I havent heard about City in a while! The eye serum sounds nice.
City Beauty has been really busy. New product launches all the time!
Thanks for the heads up of the sale! I am definitely interested in the brow boost!
Brow Boost worked for me!
Great sale. I really want to try the brow boost. I keep the Eye Revive Firming Serum in my rotation since that’s one of my favorites. City Beauty is a brand that really impresses me.
Brow Boost definitely worked for me. I finished up my Eye Revive, so I am going to buy another one on sale, yay!!
I have not tried any City Beauty products yet but you make them sound very appealing. I am especially interested in the overnight mask since my skin has been so dry lately due to tretinoin use.

City Beauty really has some fantastic skincare products. Check ’em out at some point!
Thanks Allison, I need to pick up a few things.
I have got to try that Sculpting Cream! I trust your recommendation implicitly.
I don’t think you need it yet!!! You’re too young 😉 The MicroBiome Night Cream, on the other hand, is really good (but I think you still have Dr. Brandt Hydro Biotic).
You are such a sweetheart. How young do you think I am?
35, tops???
Oh my stars! I adore you! You’re off by 18 years. I’m 53.
I don’t believe it!! You look fantastic. Also, 53 isn’t old. Your IG photo is gorgeous!
Gosh! Thank you! You’re quite elegant and stunning yourself!
I love great sales! Thanks for the wonderful reviews.
Ooh what a great time to try a new product line like this! I need a new night mask!
