Chan Luu Petite Crescent White Pearl and Silver Hoop Earrings

Do you ever see something that really makes a strong positive impression on you and you can’t stop thinking about it? Yes, I know, it happens to me all the time. But am I the only one?

Over the years, I have acquired a few jewelry items from the designer Chan Luu. The quality is excellent, and the jewelry styles seem to be timeless. In fact, some of my pieces are about two decades old.

Back in October, an ad from Chan Luu caught my eye on Facebook. The Crescent collection of unconnected hoop earrings is crafted from either hand-hammered:

  • sterling silver
  • 18K gold plate over sterling silver

either plain or with a variety of different hanging small stones, e.g. diamond, citrine, labradorite, onyx, herkimer quartz, pyrite, colored crystals and/or baroque and keshi pearls in white, grey and peacock blue.

The collection is quite vast (it seems to change from week to week), modern and lovely. The earrings come in two sizes:

  • full size: 2 inch drop
  • petite: 1.125 inch drop.

The earrings are imported, handmade in Vietnam.

The smaller earrings looked like the right size for me. I loved the silver with white pearls best.

The ad kept coming up in my FB feed over and over again since October. I thought about asking for them for Hanukah, but I really needed a new desk chair. So I had a feeling that if I were patient, eventually there would be a sale. The sale finally arrived during Black Friday week, 30% off with free 2-3 day shipping for orders over $75.

I decided to go for the Petite Crescent White Pearl & Silver Hoops, and my earrings arrived today via Fedex. They came in a floral fabric covered box with a black felt protective sleeve.

I love them. They’re just the right size. It’s great that they can be worn for casual occasions, and they will definitely look perfect if I ever get dressed up again, lol.

Here’s the Petite Crescent Grey Pearl & Labradorite Mix Silver Hoop.  They’re very pretty too!

If this style of earring isn’t for you, take a look at the Chan Luu website today because the 30% off is sitewide with a few exceptions. I love the champagne baroque pearl drop earrings below, too.

In addition to jewelry (necklaces, bracelets, anklets in addition to earrings), you’ll find scarves in a variety of fabrics, table linens and more. Plus markdown inventory gets an additional 30% off.

Today, Tuesday 11/30, is the last day of the Black Friday sale. I don’t know if they will extend it or have more pre-holiday sales. This year, retailers are unpredictable!
