CHI NATURALS HAIR CARE for the win

I wouldn’t wish my spring and summer months on anyone. Between two major falls with 2 broken arms, a hip problem and a knee injury that left me in a wheelchair, topped off with covid, it hasn’t been fun. Luckily I can cheer myself up in the shower. That’s where CHI NATURALS comes into play. Using their haircare products has been a light in the dark.

I was sent 4 Chi Naturals products in early spring and with my husband’s help have been using them to cleanse, condition and protect my hair. With a cast and a waterproof cover my husband has had to wash my hair and help me shower. Even he has come to appreciate these  products: CHI Naturals with Aloe Vera Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Shampoo and CHI Naturals with Aloe Vera Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Conditioner ($13.90 each). These are the first products I’ve ever seen that contain hyaluronic acid which is  “A polysaccharide that is naturally produced in the body and is highly favored for its hydrating properties. Ability to hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water, it forms a thin film to prevent moisture loss, providing the ultimate moisture levels to hydrate the hair and skin, leaving it radiant and smooth.” Aloe Vera is always a pleasure to be able to use as it’s “Popularly known as nature’s natural moisturizing agent, contains a vast amount of essential nutrients, amino acids and vitamins. Offers excellent conditioning properties and protection to hair while moisturizing dry skin.”

Both the shampoo and conditioner provide optimal hydration to restore and balance moisture. My hair feels beautifully moisturized. My husband noticed too how so little product can yield lots of foamy goodness while being easy to wash clear. I love that it contains natural ingredients, is color-safe and pH balanced.

Even though my hair is easy to comb after the shower I need a styling gel after to control frizz and protect against heat. That’s where either CHI Naturals with Aloe Vera Hyaluronic Acid Aloe Serum or CHI Naturals with Aloe Vera Hyaluronic Acid Intensive Hydrating Hair Gel come into play. They keep my hair manageable and the style long lasting. For my straight hair the serum is best. The hair gel is a heavier product that is great for people with waves or curls. The Serum is a  lightweight fast-absorbing oil with enough hold to keep away frizz and flyaways. The Gel helps easily sculpt and style hair with a flexible styling gel.

At least with these CHI NATURALS products I’m improving my hair and outlook and have a healthier frizz-free future ahead.
