My Current City Beauty Faves
For those of you who read Never Say Die Beauty from time to time, you could probably write my list of favorites because I talk about them so much 😀 Nevertheless, I’ll go through some of them just in case you need some inspiration.
City Lips: For my dry lips, there’s nothing better than City Lips Clear with hyaluronic acid and collagen-boosting ingredients. I apply it twice a day: before bed and in the morning, and it lasts overnight and for most of the day. It’s amazing! Not only does it keep my lips soft and hydrated, it plumps as well. Because the City Lips BOGO sale was so recent, they are out of stock on several shades (Los Angelips, Nude York, Pink Nude, Watermelon, Plum Springs, and Sun Diego), but they have plenty of Clear as well as lots of other pretty colors.
Barrier Rescue Firming Night Cream: City Beauty’s newest product that made me an instant fan. In fact, I liked it so much, I used up my first airless pump jar in a couple of months. And I already bought another one. This lightweight but uber-hydrating peach colored cream helps strengthen the skin’s barrier to help you retain moisture. It’s truly a pleasure to wear. It’s on my list to buy during this sale so I’ll have another jar in my stash. My full review is here.
Advanced Retinol System: One of City Beauty’s newest products, Advanced Retinol System is an easy to use product duo, literally two products in one bottle. On one side is the Vitamin C serum that I use as part of my morning routine, and on the other side is the gentle Retinol serum that I use every night. I love ’em both! My full review is here.
Lid Lifting Treatment: You may already know that Lid Lifting Treatment was my favorite skincare product of 2021. Actually, it’s probably my favorite eye cream ever! I’ve written before that I use this thick cream that I call “spackle for the skin above my crease” specifically in that area, and I use a less expensive eye cream under my eye. You will not be surprised to find out that I will definitely be buying another tube or two of Lid Lifting Treatment during the sale. My full review is here.
Uplift Firming Serum: If you’re in the market for a tightening serum, Uplift Firming Serum is one to check out. It can be used in a number of ways, but it’s my go-to to help tighten the skin along my jawline to prevent me from looking exactly like my grandmother Sally, who was a lovely woman but I don’t want her jowls. Multi-Action Sculpting Cream: MASC has been out for more than two years, and for two years, I haven’t been without a jar. I use it along my jawline in addition to Uplift Firming Serum when I want to do the heavy lifting, lol, and I also use it on my marionette or expression lines. It’s a mega-hydrating, rich, anti-aging cream. Love it. My full review is here.
