New! City Beauty Concentrated Youth Serum

When I returned from my trip at the end of last week, I found a box waiting for me with new City Beauty Concentrated Youth Serum. Though I have only been using it for about a week, I wanted to tell you about my initial experience with it.

Concentrated Youth Serum is an advanced wrinkle fix that smooths, firms and restores skin and reduces the look of wrinkles.

When I noticed those new wrinkles, that was just what I thought: thin skin. Thin skin allows wrinkles to become more visible and more noticeable. I need to nip that in the bud!

So what’s different about Concentrated Youth Serum? It has some key ingredients that are new-to-me: ALGAKTIV GenoFix enzymes. Hmmmm, those are new. The Youth Serum contains two forms of these enzymes:

• light-activated enzymes that work during the day to shield skin from wrinkle-accelerating environmental stressors. They give the skin the look of smoother, firmer skin.
• nighttime-activated enzymes that work as you get your “beauty sleep” that help achieve the same smoother, firmer look as well as increased radiance.

Another core ingredient is Coconut Fruit Extract. I’ve heard of coconut oil, but never coconut extract. This extract also fights environmental stressors, and importantly, it helps densify the look of thin skin so that it looks thicker, less fragile and papery, firmer, and plumper.

Concentrated Youth Serum comes in an efficacious airless pump bottle. The stuff inside is a lightweight gel-cream that disappears into my skin on contact. It looks almost like a drop of water, it’s so light.

Honestly, this is a breeze to apply and to wear. It doesn’t add weight to your face or interfere with moisturizer, primer and foundation.

Like all City Beauty products, it is free from parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and mineral oil. And it’s cruelty-free.

And right now, Concentrated Youth Serum is being introduced on the City Beauty website at $35 through March 31. The regular price will be $90 after the sale ends.
