The elegant City Beauty black and gold jar comes holds 1.7 fl. oz./50 ml. The gel-cream is a bit goopy, and I use the adorable golden scoop that came with it to scoop just a little out of the jar. The gel itself looks refreshing. I should look into some skincare that protects against blue light.
I was actually in the market for a blue ray protector, so I was thrilled to get a chance to try out the City Beauty Blue Defense Hydrogel. The liquid-y lightweight formula is great on its own or for layering.
I love gel moisturizers in warmer weather!
Does makeup work ok over it? I love the idea of gels, but makeup application over them is so hit or miss for me.
Hard to say how it would work for your skin type that’s very different from mine. But it is a liquidy formulation that I find soaks right in. I layer lots of other things including foundation over it with no issues.
