City Lips
As always, the BOGO sale is good for both City Lips Gloss and City Lips Matte.
Although I go through a tube of City Lips Clear every 6 weeks, I’ve been branching out. City Lips gloss has 10 colors in translucent shimmers and opaque glosses. I’ve been getting into the gloss colors. This past summer during the City Lips BOGO, I bought the bright pink opaque gloss shade Watermelon. It was the perfect summer gloss, though I continue to wear it even now because it’s such a happy shade.
Recently, I decided to try the translucent gloss Plum Springs, a cool-toned bronze with a subtle metallic sheen. To me, it’s a neutral coppery bronze. It looks good alone or over a coral lipstick.
And City Lips Matte shades are really pretty as well! It comes in three shades:
- Blush Rose: pale pink/peach
- Pink Taupe: cool-toned, soft mauve
- Rosy Mauve: described as cool-toned dusty blush, but I think it’s more of a medium purpley-pink (I’m wearing it in the photo below)
Beyond Mascara
Beyond Mascara is a conditioning, volumizing and lengthening mascara with an hourglass wand. It helps thin or short lashes look thicker and longer. I usually wear lengthening mascara, so when I wear Beyond Mascara, it gives my lashes a totally different look: much, much thicker.
Plus, it is the blackest of blacks! When I wear Beyond Mascara, it looks like I’m wearing black eyeliner because the deep, dark black at the base of my lashes looks like liner!
In addition to nourishing Panthenol and Hyaluronic Acid, Beyond Mascara contains:
- Linden Bud Extract promotes thicker-looking lashes by supporting structure — producing a volumizing effect. It also coats lashes in a protective antioxidant film, and promotes hydration for a volume increase of up to 70%
