City Beauty Line-Blurring Wrinkle Filler Giveaway

Press Sample - Affiliate Links

Over the past few years as I have developed more lines and wrinkles, I have been trying out a number of wrinkle fillers to help smooth the look of lines especially under foundation.  A couple of months ago, City Beauty sent me two tubes of their Line-Blurring Wrinkle Filler to try out. I thought I would share my thoughts and also give away one of the tubes to a reader of NSDB.

outer package and City Beauty Line-Blurring Wrinkle Filler tube

City Beauty Line-Blurring Wrinkle Filler is a two-in-one type of product, both makeup and skincare. It provides an immediate smoothing effect by filling in and blurring the look of wrinkles as well as a longer term firming effect by addressing lines and wrinkles at the source. It strengthens the skin’s protein matrix by adding proteins that encourage firming. To be honest, I use it primarily as a filler but having secondary longer term skincare benefits is certainly a plus.

The filler is primarily made of dimethicones and other ingredients for smoothing along with a lots of plant extracts for the skincare benefits and diamond powder for that blur effect that we all love.

Ingredients: Water, Dimethicone, Cyclohexasiloxane, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Butylene Glycol, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Glycerin, Cyclopentasiloxane, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Caprylyl Methicone, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Sodium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Phytic Acid, Propylene Carbonate, Tribehenin, Capryl Glycol, Silica, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Disodium Acetyl Glucosamine Phosphate, Sodium Glucuronate, Ceramide NG, PEG-10 Phytosterol, Diamond Powder, Magnesium Sulfate, Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-12, Algae Extract, 1,2 Hexandiol, Macrocystis Pyrifera Extract, Nymphaea Coerulea (Blue Lotus) Flower Extract, Panthenol, Rosa Mosqueta (Rosehip) Seed Oil, Saccharomyces Ferment, Sodium Polyacrylate Starch, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Nelumbo Nucifera (Lotus) Flower Extract, Nelumbo Nucifera (Lotus) Seed Powder, Nymphaea Alba (Water Lily) Root Extract, Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Bambusa Vulgaris (Bamboo) Shoot Extract, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Oil, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate, Fragrance (Parfum), Citric Acid.

tip of the pump applicator for City Beauty Line-Blurring Wrinkle Filler

A gel, City Beauty Line-Blurring Wrinkle Filler is so easy to use. It has a pump with an applicator on the end,

but I apply the gel with my finger. I pump a little out and tap it onto my lines with my index finger so that it’s smooth. When I’m not wearing makeup, I feel like Line-Blurring Wrinkle filler gives me a smoother look. When I am wearing foundation, I let it dry before applying foundation. Often, I will apply primer first, and then tap the Line-Blurring Wrinkle Filler for even more smoothing.

Using a filler is an extra step, but most of the time I feel that it’s worth it. It gives me a blurred, slightly smoother look, and the skincare benefits will hopefully show more smoothing results over time.

City Beauty Line-Blurring Wrinkle Filler‘s pump bottle contains 0.25 fl. oz./7.5 ml, and it is decidedly pricey at $79. Thankfully, a little goes a long way.

It’s recommended for all skin types including sensitive skin. Like all City Beauty products, it is cruelty-free, vegan and formulated without GMOs, Formaldehyde, Parabens, Phthalate, or Sulfate. And all of their products come with a 60 day money back guarantee.

I know nothing short of botox will take away my frowny forehead line that I have had since I was young but anything that would soften it a little would be great.

    1. This is a filler that supposedly has longer term effects. I find that fillers do a good job on light lines and help a little but not totally with wrinkles. Basically, I think fillers give my face/foundation a smoother look but I don’t look wrinkless 😉 Thanks for entering, Melissa. Good luck!
