In addition, the company gives back to worthy causes. During Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October), Starling Skincare has partnered with the Breast Cancer Alliance, an organization that supports research in early stage breast cancer, breast cancer fellowships, and helping underserved and uninsured women get testing and treatment.

I was sent two products to try out, but today I am going to focus one of them and save the other one for a second post.

Starling Revive Anti-aging Face Serum is a cocktail of about a zillion oils derived from the seeds of grape, raspberry, evening primrose, borage, rose hips, hemp, and chia, just to name a few! So with all this seed-y goodness, you know it is packed with antioxidants, vitamins and natural hydrators.

Another great thing about Starling Revive Anti-aging Face Serum is what it doesn’t have in its formula: no toxins, no soy, no coconut, no nuts, no animal products, no gluten, and no synthetic fragrances. Just real seed oils. Starling limits the use of essential oils in their products so that those with sensitive skin can use it without worry. It is also low on the non-comedogenic scale so it doesn’t clog pores or cause breakouts. As a result, it can be used by all skin types.

The lightweight pale golden oil comes in a glass dropper bottle. It has a faint, natural scent that is a result of the oils from which it is crafted. I can’t really smell it at all unless I take a big sniff from the bottle itself.

Three to four drops of Starling Revive Serum warm on my hands and pressed into my skin is all it takes to cover my face. Instantly, my skin feels revived. No kidding. When I received this oil, my skin was feeling somewhat parched. I think it was because it’s been really windy here for several weeks, and I have been outdoors hiking, jogging or biking a lot with wind in my face. Before I even took one photo to save for this post, I opened the bottle and went to town. Aaaaah!

Starling Revive Anti-aging Face Serum can be used at least three ways:

  1. After cleansing, while skin is still moist, press or pat a few drops warmed by your hands directly onto your skin. You can also use a facial roller to massage it in. I have to look harder to find my facial roller because I would love to try it that way. You can use Starling Revive Serum either as a serum and follow it up with moisturizer, or you can use it on its own.
  2. If your skin is feeling dry, you can apply a couple of drops right over your moisturizer for an extra drink of hydration.
  3. One of the ways to use Starling Revive Serum is at least tied for first in terms of how I like to use it. A couple of drops of the golden lightweight oil can be used around the eye area. Especially in the winter or when my eyes water, the skin in my crease and toward my nose gets dry, crusty and sore. I love how soothing this feels.

The benefits of Starling Revive Anti-aging Face Serum are hydration, firming and revitalization. And my skin feels so nicely plumped after I apply it.

Starling Revive Anti-aging Face Serum‘s bottle contains 1 fl. oz., and is regularly priced at $60. Right now, Starling has a Halloween promotion where you can get $20 off when you spend $40+ and you get free shipping. That’s a good deal for this well-made, non-toxic serum!
