Coui Skincare Nourishing Cleansing Oil

Coui Skincare, facial cleanser

Nourishing Cleansing Oil is new from Coui. Although I’m a fan of using argan oil and rosehip oil on my face at night instead of moisturizer from time to time, I had never used cleansing oil. Now, I apply a few drops of Coui Cleansing Oil in the palm of my hand, mix with a few drops of water so it becomes creamy. I massage it onto my face, and it removes my makeup as it cleanses my skin. After rinsing, my face feels and is clean but not tight or stripped. I’ve been using another strong acid facial cleanser lately, and my skin was feeling a little dry and sore. It feels soooo good to use Coui Nourishing Cleansing Oil to soothe as well as cleanse my skin. Plus, I love that it saves me the extra step of having to remove my makeup before cleansing at night. Yay!

Coui Nourishing Cleansing Oil contains so many lovely oils and other goodies: Castor Seed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Pomegranate Seed Oil, Rosehip Seed Oil, Vitamin D, and antioxidants. It has no alcohol or harsh surfactants. It works for all skin types from sensitive, dry to oily by using oils to maintain skin’s natural balance. The brown glass pump bottle contains 2 fl. oz/60 ml. It’s priced at $19.95 and sold on Amazon. Have you tried cleansing oil yet? You should!

Coui Skincare Ocean Toner

Coui Skincare, facial toner

I never used to “bother” with toner, but over the past year, I’ve gotten into it! Toner confirms for me that my skin is clean, and it helps my skin get ready for the serum and moisturizer. It also minimizes pores, refreshes, tones and tightens. It’s anti-inflammatory.

New Coui Ocean Toner is a combination of the goodness of rosewater and skin-loving ingredients from the sea. And the scent smells like a combination of the two. I can smell the roses but also the minerality of the ocean. Alcohol-free, Ocean Toner is a simple combination of 5 ingredients: rosewater, sea kelp, witch hazel, aloe vera, and a moisturizing glycol.

It comes in a sleek, silver metal spray bottle. I can’t stand spraying anything directly on my face (though you may love the refreshing spray) so I spray it on a cotton pad and pat it on my skin. My skin feels smooth and fresh and ready for the next step.

Ocean Toner, 4 fl. oz., is sold on Amazon for $22.95.

    1. I really like it, Anastasia! It makes my skin feel so soft and smooth and nourished 🙂

  4. Allison since I have oilier skin, do you think a cleansing oil would still be beneficial, or would it overdo it and leave me even slicker? Not sure how my skin would react to it…

Erica @ Coming Up Roses recently posted…DIY Watermelon ShoesMy Profile

    1. They say that oily skin can use cleansing oil because instead of making the skin oilier it restores the proper balance. Unfortunately, I don’t know the science behind that claim (I probably should!), but I have heard it from so many different sources that I believe it. 😉

  5. That cleansing oil sounds so great! I love reading your facial reviews because I think you have similar skin to me, so I always know I can trust your reviews!

    1. I hear ya on the sunscreen, Kristina. This one really sinks in/dries down so I don’t mind using it. I don’t know why I have that reaction. I have Evian Spray which I love but it is so aversive for me to spray it in my face, lol

  11. I’m SO bad about using sunscreen on my face. I’m also still terrified of trying facial oils!
Kat Dinges recently posted…Revlon Parfumerie: Autumn Spice & Wild VioletsMy Profile

    1. You have to do what you’re comfortable with, Kat! I hear ya on using sunscreen on your face. I’ve found two so far this season that I’ve had good luck with. This was my first time using cleansing oil (I have dry skin), and everything I’ve read says that even those with oily skin can benefit from using it because it doesn’t add oil, it balances the oil and somehow helps your skin cut down on oil production. but it does sound a bit like magic
