Cutter Poison Ivy Wipes

Cape Ann Museum Blooms

This afternoon, Jeff and I went to Cape Ann Museum in Gloucester to see their version of “Art in Bloom” where designers create floral displays that capture the essence of a particular artwork.

It was very nice, not quite as good as at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, but still enjoyable.

We also stopped in at the Judi Rotenberg exhibit. Her exuberant floral paintings are uplifting and fun.

Outdoor Living and Cutter Poison Ivy Wipes

Then at the end of the sunny and warm afternoon, we went for a short bike ride, my first of the season. Because I have been exhausted lately and this was the beginning of the biking season, we rode a mere four miles. But I was happy to be back on my bike.

Along the bike trail, the side of the forested areas were covered with invasive honeysuckle. The blossoms hadn’t opened yet, so we couldn’t smell the vines yet. They really are awful because they are crowding out native plants, but during a couple of weeks in May, they smell great.

Also along the bike trail, there were various sized clumps of poison ivy either just emerging or growing by leaps and bounds. Ugh.

At this early point in the season, the familiar triple leaves are recognizably shiny and red/green. It seemed to me that there will be more poison ivy along the trail than usual.

On Friday, my friend Sue and I went for a walk in the woods not far from my house, and poison ivy was just beginning to emerge there.

I try hard to notice where the poison ivy is when I’m jogging, hiking, walking, or biking because it is everywhere around here. It’s better to avoid it, if possible.

But sometimes, poison ivy is unavoidable. So I was delighted when I was offered an opportunity to try Cutter Poison Ivy Wipes.

Cutter Poison Ivy Wipes are individually wrapped for on the go use.

In fact, I put several right into my lightweight backpack that I take with me hiking or biking to hold my necessities. But they are small enough to put  a few into a pocket.

Fortunately, I haven’t had to use them yet, but I am ready!

If I come in direct contact with poison ivy, I can use a Cutter Poison Ivy Wipe or two to remove the plant oils and hopefully stave off a reaction. This is a great idea instead of waiting till I get home to wash my skin with soap and water. Not only are they for poison ivy, but also for poison oak or poison sumac. And you can check out the ingredients on the back of the packet below.

The wipes are perfect for any outdoor activity where you may come into contact with poison ivy, oak or sumac: hiking, walking, biking, camping, gardening. Anytime you’re outdoors, you could come into contact with a skin irritant. These are just so darn convenient!

Each box contains 12 individually wrapped wipes. Awesome! On Amazon, a box of 12 Cutter Poison Ivy Wipes is priced at $11.99. They’re unscented, too. They’re dermatologist-tested and clinically proven.

I think Cutter Poison Ivy Wipes are a must-have for the outdoor seasons!

  2. I think my husband should have these for his bike especially. The city takes care of the dog park weekly but it could be helpful there too. These sound great for your active lifestyle.
