Defenage is one of my favorite luxury but research-oriented skincare brands. It is a leading skincare brand for those who work in aesthetic medicine. Their website always publishes expert opinions as well as the results from clinical studies.

Defensins are a non-irritating alternative to retinol that provides retinol-like results. Plus, unlike retinol that makes skin more sensitive to the sun and can become less effective when exposed to the sun, Defensins don’t. Defensins activate dormant LGR6+ stem cells in the body to create fresh new skin.

Product Esthetics
Defenage 10 Luxe Hand & Body Cream is delightful to use. It is most effective when applied after shower or bath.
The cream itself isn’t thick or heavy but feels rich, silky and soothing. It makes my skin feel incredibly smooth, but it doesn’t contain silicones. The cream absorbs on contact and leaves no greasiness whatsoever behind. My skin looks and feels firmer after using it.
It has no added fragrance, just the very faint aroma of the natural ingredients. Honestly, I don’t smell it at all. It’s always my go-to when I’m wearing perfume.
