A month ago, I wrote about the Derma E Vitamin C collection’s Concentrated Serum and Cleansing Paste (here). Since then, I’ve been using the third product in the trio, Derma E Vitamin C Bright Eyes Hydrogel Patches.

Over the years, I have had other eye gel patches, but I have never really gotten into them the way I have these.

They are golden lightweight gel patches that adhere to the under eye area comfortably and very well. They are wider at the outside, so they cover my crow’s feet too.

The jar comes with a plastic scoop that helps scoop up a patch so the patches stay clean because you don’t have to put your finger into the jar. There’s also a plastic inner cover that keeps the patches moist and clean.

The patches are initially cooling and refreshing. They are enriched with antioxidants Vitamin C and B3 to brighten the look of dark circles, and I think the patch has even helped lighten my dark spot a bit. The patches have caffeine to depuff the under eye area, and allantoin and aloe to hydrate, soothe and plump up and diminish the look of fine lines.

Although the patches stick very well so that I can go about my business while wearing them, they are so relaxing that they feel great to put on and then lie down for 10 minutes or so. I really enjoy them. They are gentle enough to use every day. I use them two or three times a week. I especially love them after I’ve been working in the garden. I come in wash the dirt off my face, and then apply them. So cooling and relaxing. In summer, they can be kept in the refrigerator for extra cooling.

Once I take the patches off, the remaining product on the skin under my eyes gets quickly absorbed by my skin.

  1. These are among my very favorite ey patches. I love hydrogel patches the best, and I think that they are more effective than the soaked cloth or paper varieties.

    1. I have never heard of smoked cloth or paper eye patches! Who knew? But I know I would agree that the hydrogel patches are the best. They stay put (for me, at least) and they feel good!
