Derma E Vitamin C Brighten and Go Cosmetic Bag Set

PR Sample, Affiliate Links

Every now and then, Derma E comes out with travel kits with TSA-approved sizes of their wonderful, clean beauty skincare products. Recently, I received the limited edition holiday Derma E Vitamin C Brighten and Go Cosmetics Bag Set.

I discovered a couple of the products in the Derma E Vitamin C collection a year ago or so. Since then Derma E Vitamin C Concentrated Serum has become a regular part of my daytime skincare routine.

Derma E Vitamin C Concentrated Serum in the full size pump bottle

It’s a translucent lightweight “watery” gel with a faint citrus scent.

The antioxidant-rich serum does an excellent job protecting my skin from environmental stressors as well as brightening my skin and helping to even my skin tone. I strongly recommend it if you are looking for a vitamin C serum.

The Brighten and Go Cosmetic Bag Set is a terrific way to get to know three of the core products in their Vitamin C line:

Vitamin C Daily Brightening Cleanser

Last spring, I received Derma E Vitamin C Gentle Brightening Paste with turmeric, and I liked it. But truth be told, I LOVE Vitamin C Daily Brightening Cleanser, a clear gel with a delectable citrus scent that wakes me up in the morning! I apply it to my skin, add water, and as the water is worked in, rich lotiony suds appear. It’s delightful to use!

The sulfate-free, pH balanced Daily Brightening Cleanser is formulated with stabilized Vitamin C, Licorice and Madonna Lily Extracts plus Vitamins B3. It is formulated to remove makeup and impurities while promoting a radiant complexion. Although there’s glycolic acid in the formula, it is a small amount, and it is gentle enough for sensitive skin.

The travel tube contains 1.5 fl. oz. I looked for Derma E Vitamin C Daily Brightening Cleanser on the Derma E website today, and I couldn’t find it. I did find it on iHerb and a couple of other online retailers. I may pickup the full size (6 fl. oz.) gel cleanser on iHerb in case it’s about to disappear. It’s that good.

Vitamin C Concentrated Serum

After cleansing, I follow up with the Concentrated C Serum that I described above. The serum contains hydrating Hyaluronic Acid, stabilized Vitamin C and skin-balancing Probiotics to support collagen production and minimize the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

The travel size pump bottle contains 0.5 fl. oz. In the spring, I had another travel size pump bottle, and it lasted me over a month. I’ve gone through about half of my full size bottle in 6 months. Good value for a terrific serum.

Vitamin C Intense Night Cream

Vitamin C Intense Night Cream is exactly that: intense! This rich slightly peach-colored cream delivers restoring moisture to reduce the appearance of uneven skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles. I look forward to applying it at the end of the day because it’s like a big drink of water for my skin. Good stuff.

I don’t really smell a citrus scent with this product. It comes across as fragrance-free though it might have a very faint aroma to someone else. The jar of Vitamin C Intense Night Serum contains 0.5 fl. oz.

There is also a daytime moisturizer, Vitamin C Renewing Moisturizer, that was not part of the Brighten and Go Cosmetic Bag Set. The four products used together in a 6 week clinical trial by an independent research team showed an 82% improvement in skin brightness and radiance. Over the past 6+ months, the Vitamin C Concentrated Serum as part of my daytime skincare regimen has brightened my skin and helped even all but my intractable dark spots.

Other Items in the Brighten and Go Set

The Vitamin C Brighten and Go Set comes in a cute, cottony yellow-orange print makeup bag that holds the items and leaves plenty of room for other skincare products or travel size makeup.

The set also includes a face scrubber made of soft silicone that I enjoy using when I don’t feel like taking out my Foreo Luna. It helps build up the lather from the cleanser and helps remove makeup, dirt and just gives my face a nice, gentle massage.

The Derma E Vitamin C Brighten and Go Cosmetic Bag Set is:

  • dermatologist recommended
  • cruelty-free/Leaping Bunny Certified
  • gluten-free
  • GMO-free
  • soy-free
  • 100% vegan.

Although affordable, natural Derma E skincare products are widely available in stores like Whole Foods, Target and Ulta Beauty among others, I think that the Vitamin C Brighten and Go Cosmetic Bag Set is only available on the Derma E website where it is priced at $14.99. Again, it is a limited edition holiday set, so I am not sure how much longer it will be available, but it is there now. If you sign up to get Derma E emails, you can save 20% on your entire first purchase.

If you are looking to add vitamin C to your skincare routine, I heartily recommend the Derma E Vitamin C collection, and the Brighten and Go Set is a good way to test drive the products.

  1. This is such a great set! I ned to review mine!

  2. I really like a set like this to determine if the products are right for me. Even when products are said to be fragrance-free they can have an aroma that bothers me. I like the looks of this set.
