Quite a few retailers are getting a jump on Black Friday this year because of supply chain problems and issues with the post office. But when I can benefit from that situation, I’m all for it.

My City Beauty Favorites!
In case you need some inspiration, let me share my favorites from City Beauty with you. In 2021, City Beauty came out with some new products, and not surprisingly, several made their way onto my Favorites List.
Advanced Retinol System: This is City Beauty’s newest product, and it is an easy to use product duo, literally two products in one bottle. On one side is the Vitamin C serum that I use as part of my morning routine, and on the other side is the gentle Retinol serum that I use every night. I love ’em both! My full review is here.
Body Sculpt Firming Complex: Serums for the body made their appearance in 2021, and I was delighted to get to try City Beauty Body Sculpt Firming Complex. It’s a lightweight serum that sinks into my skin on contact and is greaseless. It has done the most to help firm the crepey skin on my upper arms and on my thighs. For summer or for the warm weather parts of the country, it’s a must-have. And to boost one’s confidence, it’s just the thing all year round. My full review is here.
Lid Lifting Treatment: This is my favorite skincare product of 2021. Actually, it’s probably my favorite eye cream ever! I’ve written before that I use this thick cream that I call “spackle for the skin above my crease” specifically in that area, and I use a less expensive eye cream under my eye. You will not be surprised to find out that I will definitely be buying another tube or two of Lid Lifting Treatment during the sale. My full review is here.
Uplift Firming Serum: If you’re in the market for a tightening serum, Uplift Firming Serum is one to check out. It can be used in a number of ways, but it’s my go-to to help tighten the skin along my jawline to prevent me from looking exactly like my grandmother Sally, who was a lovely woman but I don’t want her jowls. Multi-Action Sculpting Cream: MASC has been out for more than two years, and for two years, I haven’t been without a jar. I use it along my jawline in addition to Uplift Firming Serum when I want to do the heavy lifting, lol, and I also use it on my marionette or expression lines. It’s a mega-hydrating, rich, anti-aging cream. Love it. My full review is here.
City Lips: You’re probably sick of me singing the praises of City Lips Lip Plumper, but I use it two a day, once in the morning and again before bed to keep my lips soft, unchapped, and full looking. If I am going to wear a lipstick that I know will dry my lips, I always wear City Lips Clear either underneath or over it as a gloss. It contains collagen and hyaluronic acid, and it couldn’t work better for me. Applied around the lip line, it can help stave off vertical age lines (at least for a while, if you start before they get deep). City Lips Clear is one of the products that I stockpile. Whenever there’s a sale, I add to my stash!
