Early July ’23 Beauty Spotlight Team

During the July 4th holiday when it poured rain almost every day, my aunt came to visit for a few days. She hasn’t visited in more than 3 years because of COVID, so I was happy to have her. But she is 87 now and though very youthful looking and acting, I was sad to see that she is having fairly serious age-related memory issues in spite of taking medication. As a result, our visit was more time consuming and busy than I expected. I drove her home yesterday only to discover that she left her makeup in the guest bathroom. Oh well, at least it was only makeup!

I hope I will be back to posting regularly next week, though probably starting on Tuesday. Jeff and I are going to one of my favorite classic plays, The Importance of Being Earnest, on Sunday night.

Hope all’s well with you and you’re enjoying the summer so far!
