Eclat Rose Water: The Most Delightful Toner!

Months ago, I was sent a bottle of Eclat Rose Water Toner to try out. Before I had a chance to use it, I ended up in the hospital which led to several months of being sick, having surgery, and generally feeling under the weather.

I knew I put the Eclat Rose Water somewhere, but I couldn’t remember where. Fortunately, I found it a couple of weeks ago in the boxes with my “most recent” PR samples. I put it right to use, finally!

Eclat is a new-to-me brand that’s sold online at the Eclat Shop and at Amazon.

I was surprised by how much I love Eclat Rose Water Toner. I think it’s the loveliest rose water I have ever used. It’s cruelty-free, vegan, natural, and organic. The natural, light rose scent is hypnotic, calming and delightful. It is so gentle, and it makes my skin feel lightly hydrated.

The clear plastic bottle doesn’t have a spray. It has a small plastic hole that helps you control how much rose water comes out.

At first, I applied the rose water via a cotton pad. I felt that the cotton pad absorbed too much of the rose water. Instead, I’ve been pouring a little bit into my hand and then applying it to my skin. It feels so wonderful and calming on my face. I’m in love.

Here’s what Eclat says about their steam distilled rose water:

Hydrates skin, soothes inflammation and tightens pores. Tone and clarify your skin.

Our rose water is made from 100% organic rose petals, so it’s much purer than those derived from rose concentrate or oil. Our slow distillation method preserves the vitamins and antioxidants found in the petals.

It leaves your skin feeling fresh and silky. Apply to skin after cleansing, then follow with your favourite Éclat moisturiser.

Benefits: Hydrating: This soothing toner binds moisture, strengthening the skin’s barrier in the process to ensure a healthy microbiome.

Shrinking: Rose water’s astringent properties draw out impurities and tighten pores. It’s antimicrobial, so it removes any blemish-causing bacteria during cleansing.

Soothing: Rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, our rose water is the perfect match for sensitive, redness-prone skin.

Clinically proven to*: Tighten pores Restore moisture balance Cleanse and soothe After 3 weeks*: 100% experienced zero irritation 96% had a clearer complexion 98% said skin felt softer 91% saw smaller pores *Based on a 3-week clinical study of 53 users.

Featured Ingredients: Organic Rose Water: Our toner comprises 1 potent ingredient, rose water sourced from Bulgaria’s Valley of Roses. It’s naturally rich in vitamins and anthocyanins, including vitamins A, C, E & B. To preserve these active micronutrients, we gently steam-distill our rose petals at low temperatures.

Although Eclat Rose Water Toner is appropriate for all skin types, on the Amazon website, it says it’s for “acne, oily skin”. Unlike rose waters that are heavily diluted, Eclat’s rose water has an astringent-like function that gently draws out impurities and removes any excess sebum. But thanks to its moisture-boosting properties, it doesn’t dehydrate skin. I honestly thought it contained glycerin and hyaluronic acid because it is so hydrating to my dry, anything but oily skin.

If you are a fan of rose water or if you love a soft, natural, non-lingering rose scent, you must must must try Eclat Rose Water. It’s a delight, and your skin will love it. On Amazon, the 200 ml bottle is priced at $9.99. On the Eclat website, Rose Water Toner is $1 more, though it’s delivered by Amazon Prime.

Ingredients: Water, Rosa Damascena

So far, this is the only Eclat skincare products I’ve tried, but I am definitely interested in trying more if they are as terrific as the Rose Water. Also, Eclat sells their skincare products in highly affordable duos or bundles. Take a look!
